Decision time, though it will probably be a very easy decision.
Another roll for $5k? |

Maybe not, the windows kind of reminded me of it, but they'd be too big.

We need to keep opening up whatever that is over to HIJK. I think that may help us more than attacking the corners.

We can get moves combining to 10, 11, and 12.
A couple of options: 1.) E3, F3, E4 2.) F3, G3, H4 I don't see other good connecting options that involve an 11. |

I'd be willing to combine with MIJB to open H3 or I4. That seems like it should have something behind it.

I think we should go 12, 12, and 9.
Butter and MIJB to I4. Hoops and Brian to H4. That allows us to combine up and open another 12 or split it up some other way.

Based on Poli's comment, I4 sounds good to me.

For some reason, those shoes make me think of Olive Oil. Could this be a Popeye game? I think we should get I3 open.

First result of a google search for "Popeye games deluxe" (sans quotes) gave me a picture where Olive looks very similar to what we see here. Same red shoes and red/brown dress.

To add to this comment: I added the deluxe part to have that picture be the first result. Without that, it was the 6th or 7th result.

Yep, that looks about like I was remembering for the game. Strange how the memory works (if this turns out to be right), since I probably haven't seen that game in 10-15 years.
The background looks a lot different, but if we can uncover more of this character, we should be able to tell pretty quickly if it is her or not. The big question now is whether H2 or I3 will give us a better picture. I3 might be the back of her head, while H2 might be over her head. I hope this next look tells us something. |

It is Popeye. Mercifully, this challenge has ended. New challenge tomorrow. Thanks for staying patient. The next challenge should be a quick hitter, then on to execution #2.

Mission #4: Brain Benders
For this mission, you will be given a series of brainteasers as a group. Discussion of each brainteaser is encouraged, but the first answer will be the only one accepted. An answer must be registered by making a post that contains, in bold, the word answer and what you are submitting. For instance, if the question is "What is 2+2?" you would make a post that looks like this to answer: Answer: 4 You will be presented 3 brainteasers. Answering one correctly will open up a new one for you to look at. Answering one incorrectly means that one other one will be closed permanently, never to be seen by the team. This also ends your ability to answer on that brainteaser. For example, say you answer puzzle #1 correctly. I would then give you puzzle #4, leaving #2, 3, and 4 available for you to answer. Say you then answered #3, but the answer was incorrect. I would then close puzzle #3 and puzzle #5, meaning you would no longer have the opportunity to give answers for those puzzles. Each correct answer is worth $7,500. |

Not an official guess, but I'm thinking Turkey is next. The first four start with "QWER" which are the first 4 letters on the keyboard. The next letter would be "T". Since positions 1 and 3 are avians and 2 and 4 are mammals, I'm guessing 5 should follow the pattern and be a bird. Thoughts? |
