Anyone who took the under has to be happy with this first quarter.

Don't even think about reviewing that, OU..ground can't cause a fumble, and he crossed the plane, anyway.

I still do not understand what happened at the end of the 1st quarter.

It was 1st and 10. Then Florida had 2 false starts by the same player back to back and then they let the clock run out ending the quarter. But, when they come back it is only 1st and 15. What happened?

shouldn't it have been 1st and 20?

Seriously, dude can take a nap and still take a pass with the time they buy him. Speed is great, but speed is only useful if you can get around the beef.

Florida OL doesn't look as good as the looked the second half of the season, they look like they did against Ole Miss. They are just kind of standing around and not engaging with enough energy.

I believe the time ran out in the quarter before the penalty occured.

How many downs did OU get near the goal line in that last possession Fox?

Oklahoma shoots themselves in the foot inside the 10 yard line for the second time in the half.

If they lose, they'll have to look in the mirror.

This is definitely a lot closer, and a lot lower scoring than I expected.

I'll be honest, I thought Florida would run away with it.

After that interception, Bob Stoops looked like the guy on Deal or No Deal who opens the $500,000 and $750,000 cases and keeps saying "It's all right, it's all right".

Good performance by the OU defense so far, getting turnovers as they have all season and shutting down the run. The offense has moved the ball pretty well, but man I hope those failures inside the 10 don't come back to haunt them. OU has been incredible this season scoring in the red zone. They're not used to being stopped down there.

I'm becoming more and more convinced, after the past couple of seasons, that the long gap between the end of the season and BCS bowls wreaks havoc on offenses. You can't just expect to have 30+ days off and come out and play with the same level and consistency you had during the final few weeks of the regular season.

Depends on if they can actually get some pressure on Oklahoma in the 2nd half. I don't see much indication of that so far in the game.

+1

It took both offenses a quarter to get anything going at all. I hate the layoff.

Almost every blitz in the 2nd quarter worked against Bradford. I'm sure Oklahoma will try to adjust, but I'm sure Meyer and his staff will as well.

Come on ESPN... They must be having a hard time dealing with not having this event as they are airing a Halftime Show of their own right now. Flipping wanna be monopoly of all-things sports.

Their main two channels right now consist of this and Billiards. How about some College Hoops?

You're rooting for both Oklahoma AND Florida?

What, are you shooting a Mercury Insurance commercial?

Wow. I'm trying to listen to this on XM. Brent Musberger is so awful I don't think I can take it. If I wasn't driving I'd be playing a drinking game. He's said OU is "high octane" at least a dozen times. And he keeps referring to every snap as a "direct snap to Bradford". I can never remember anyone using that terminology for anything but a snap to the RB.

And when they actually direct snapped to the RB he called it the wildcat. Which the dolphins and "Tim brown" used a lot this year.

Good call to give it to Harvin. His quickness let him to get to the edge, whereas Tebow probably wouldn't been able to.

Btw, just showed Tebow on the sideline after the TD with his helmet off.. His face is almost purple... Reminds me of that one girl from the Willy Wonka movie who chews the gum that tastes like blueberry pie.
