My theory is that with DV up 4-3 Dubb saw it better to polish his image and put the nail in the coffin rather than tie it and risk DV dying anyway, making him look awful as well.

I may not be here at deadline, so I'd love to hear any closing arguments.

I'm still undecided. I don' think Dubbs vote yesterday buys him any trust. More so than any other player, he is willing to vote a fellow wolf to gain trust.

Watching the uncleared players today I'm not quite sure how to read it. Packerfan is jumping all over, looking kind of twitchy for someone who wasn't getting any votes. I'm not sure why Dubb would go to PackerFan unless he was just hoping to spread the vote. Cougar comes across pretty straight - votes his running mate. If PF and Dubb are the wolves though I'm not sure why PF switches to him, other than to confuse us perhaps.

Unvote Dubb
Vote Packer I think his reaction to Dubb really does paint him as the traitor. |

I feel best about Packer being a wolf right now, not sure what to make of Dubb and Cougar right now.

I don't want to just follow someone blindly, but I want to make sure the good guys vote in a bloc. Pass, where are you going to vote? CW are you around?

We currently have Dubb at 2, Packer at 2, Autumn at 1 and Cougar at 1.
Noted is that Packer is able to revote Dubb to give him three votes while dubbs vote is already on Packer. We need to not have this be so close and risk a tie. |

I'll switch from Dubb to PF if need be. I wanted to wait and see if others were coming in to consolidate. My thoughts are that those two are the wolves, so I'm fine keeping it between them.

Ok, we would hopefully get Coffee and Pass to vote with us as well to make sure the wolves cant do any funny business.

Either way though, please don't make a last minute vote, so we can know where we stand.

Unless we can all agree on cougar instead -- otherwise even if Danny joins me it will be a 3-3 tie I think.

I think a tie is preferable, though -- seems to me that Autumn and cougar are painting this as PF and dubb as bad guys, to force the vote that way.

Why would Cougar or I top your list of suspects, Pass?
Are we sure that the traitor, if scanned before being found, scanned wolf? |

You have suggested ties, voted to force ties, and otherwise tried hard to have a tie in many of our votes. I think that's rather well established. |

The day turns again into night. And again you have no clear decision as to who among you may be responsible for the deaths of your fellow Jihadi Warriors.
At the end of the day, Coffee Warlord walks forward to PackerFanatic, the same look of serenity on his face as the first time you saw him. "PackerFanatic, it is the will of the tribe that your water is forfeit. You are to be sent out into the desert, as a sacrifice to the Makers". With that, CW reaches out and rips the catchtube from PF's stillsuit, and Packer can do nothing but stare at the ground as the precious water from his catchpockets empty into the sand. However, the look of desperation you expect on Packer's face is not there when he lifts his head. Instead, you are surprised to see a look of hysterical insanity! "I don't need your water, Atredies scum. The Emperor will probably reward me with all of Caladan for finally ridding the universe of you!" A kindjal blade appears out of no where as PackerFanatic slashes violently at CoffeeWarlord with such force and speed that it would have taken his head completely off. That is, if CW had not already ducked under the attack and drawn his crysknife. The fight is magnificent. PackerFanatic is undoubtedly the fighter that killed Telle, but Coffee Warlord is utterly remarkable, his skill in the wierding way completely unmatched, and PF soon realizes he has no hope of defeating the Kwisatch Haderach. As this realization sets in, Packer decides that if he must die, he will die trying to take Muad'dib with him, and launches himself towards the crouching form of CW. Coffee nimbly tuck-rolls under the lunging form of Packer, his crysknife darting up as he passes beneath, slicing PF from the throat all the way to his abdomen. Packer lies on the sand, his entrails spilling forth from his body, his body's water soaking into the sand. No man could survive such a complete evisceration...or at least no normal man. Autumn is the first to reach PackerFanatic's body, and as he rolls the body over to carry it off to the deathstill, Packer suddenly stabs his arm forward, the point of his kindjal driving up under the ribs of Autumn, straight into his heart. They fall together, rolling down a dune locked in the embrace of death, Autumn caught completely unaware that a Sardaukar does not die as easily as any other man PackerFanatic is dead. He was the Sardaukar Trooper Autumn is dead. He was a Jihadi Warrior It is now night 5, orders are due by 6am EST |
