Getting the 5th year option on a QB would make it worthwhile for someone to trade up and take one here before the first round ends.

Good news for Browns fans is at least Manziel isn't furiously try to burn his hat backstage, and we know this because the TV cameras keep going back to him every 30 seconds

no QB that's good-Cards fans seem to like him. I think they went with him due to the "Honey Badger" injury

Panthers have to be going WR here

Benjamin looks like he's a few BBQ sandwiches away from being a TE.

Think he's going to have real trouble getting open as a wideout in the NFL. He might well end up at TE

Do the Broncos get Manning's replacement with the 31st pick?

I thought that "the grind is where being a professional begins" speech was actually pretty good TV.

I still think he's a flat out stone cold murdering SOB ... but credit where it's due, that was a good concept he was trying to get across.

Got to love those thousands of Seahawks fans who went to a draft party for 4 hours on a weeknight to find out their team didn't even make a pick

Very disappointed for Lee. A couple of teams that would have been perfect fits took a pass

The front office gets a pass from me because of how well they've drafted. Seems like they probably could have gotten him in the second though, so I'm not so sure about where they got him. Undersized and with potential attitude/work ethic problems? Meh.

Cleveland almost seems like the perfect place for Johnny Football to end up. He has got strong weapons at TE and WR already in place. The expectations arent going to be that high immediately so he can make some mistakes. The coach may be willing to let him play more of his playground style than he might get in a different organization.

As a Vikings fan, I am not overly exciting about Barr(basically because I have no idea on what position he will even play). I was happy to sneak in and get Bridgewater however.

I always thought Barr would be a weakside LB in the 4-3 defense which the Vikings already have Greenway. Do they really think he can play DE at his size? Any UCLA fans that can help figure this out?

Very happy with the Easley pick. Whoever says 3rd round grade is wrong; Seattle was taking him at 32 from what I understand.

A bit of both. Ever since Zack Martin started to rise up the board walterfootball have been reporting that the Dolphins had James as a first round grade so it's no real suprise they picked him since Martin, Shazier and Mosley were gone.

However not many other teams (if any) seemed to rate him as high as Miami, they probably could have traded back and still got him or maybe even waited until their second round pick considering no other tackles were taken and if anyone wants to take one in the second round they'll likely have others rated higher (although in hindsight it's easy to say that).

Thrilled with the Bengals Dennard pick. I heard at least one analyst saying they would've gone Roby... I think Dennard has the highest floor if not the highest ceiling. Was rooting from around #12 pick on that he would keep falling... and he did.

Spielman actually called him a strongside LB in his presser while Zimmer said it was too early to tell and that he would be a pressure player for them. If they really are thinking strongside, then he might slide to DE in Nickle, though the Vikings are already paying starter money to two DEs if I recall correctly.

I wish they would have taken bridgewater. He got slammed because of one bad pro day when the guy has produced throughout college. They would have been set in two years. Taking a guy with two torn acls in round one is a classic case of beli outsmarting himself again.
