Davis probably did not help his case by spraining his ankle during a workout with the Sixers yesterday

Okay, I'm not switching to the Copa anymore. Argentina keeps scoring whenever I do.

Splitter...yup, next star for the Spurs. Ugh.

Has there ever been a player Vitale didn't like? Especially a college senior.

As a Badgers fan I am happy to see him go in the first round. I'll be a semi Suns fan next season. Might actually try to watch some games. Granted, I see about 10 minutes a game from him in his first season.

I came in midway through the analysis, so I didn't catch who was speaking...but what was with the "the only thing I don't like about this pick is that it will take at least a year for him to come over"...is that really a problem for a loaded defending champion?

Yeah, I think they were reaching to find a blotch on a good pick. Spurs don't need Splitter next year. Let's face it, he probably would have been a teens pick if people thought he was coming over right away. The guy pulled out of three straight drafts. Who's shocked he won't be here next year?

Of course some guys just never come over, so that's always a concern. For instance, the Clips picked that big Greek center who did well last year at the Goodwill Games against us. I was hoping we would try to bring him over. Hasn't happened yet.

And then there are the Euros who come over right away and suck...like lottery pick Korolyev, whom the Clips chose not to even pick up his third year option this year (and they paid his Russian team a $1 M just to get him over here right away!).

Quite a few guys to pick from with these second rnd picks for the Celtics (32+35). I'm thinking McRoberts, Big Baby, hell even Fazekas.

interesting...don't know much about Pruitt. Maybe a Delonte replacement, part time shooter - part time distributor.

Stephen Jackson, you just earned yourself the starting job! The Warriors replace the long gone Diogu with an even better player. The Bobcats get a lot more athletic (or at least replace Wallace's athleticism).

Jordan is not a good GM. Seriously. He's not patient enough. Someone should send him a few text sims and let him call it a day. He needs to be able to simulate decades in advance and he can simply buy himself rings.

Not spending first round money on Pruitt will help elevate him from definite bust to "meeting expectations." I still think his actual value is a little lower than where he went, but at least you're not locked in to a first round contract.

Baby's in Seattle. Big props to the equipment manager up there who hauls out one of Fat Kemp's old jerseys to give to Davis.

When did Danny Ainge become GM of the Pats? Big Baby could be a tight end.

Actually, I like the pick for Boston. They need a bulky guy in the middle. It will allow Allen and Rondo to take more chances on steals on the perimeter, because anyone getting past them will have to go around Big Baby to lay it up (and there are only 24 seconds on the NBA shot clock).
