I don't want Brady or Manning on my team because we have CUTLER.

One of the best parts of this Super Bowl is that it's all about the Great Lakes region of the Midwest - The greatest part of this country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is pure 100% bull#@$%.

For once in the history of this series, the Colts caught the breaks in the second half. They got away with a PI. They also got a cheap roughing the passer call and a fumbled ball actually defied physics to go their way.

And Manning made all the key throws. Every single one. And the Colts beat the Pats in every category. Passing, rushing, total yards, TOP, yards per carry, yards per pass. . . It's a credit to Brady, Beli, the Patriots special teams and pure guts that NE was even in the game at all after the score was 28-28.

The NE game where the Colts were mugged all day and the refs didn't call the clear holding on the Pats RT was every bit as badly reffed as this game was. This is where the Patriots fans can earn some respect back by acting like SirFozzie above. You should be saying nothing outside of "great game Colts" "Great game Manning" "We'll see you next year" (only after the first two statements are made) and "It's time the front office got off it's ass and gave Brady some real WR to throw the football to. The lack of weapons devastated us when it really counted"

It's certainly not the time to try to spoil the Colts win by bitching about two calls in a game you were winning 21-3.

Congrats to the Colts and their fans. It sucks to lose that way, but I'll live. Somebody get me some fucking Scotch, now.

What does this have to do with anything?

More Syracuse players on the Colts = support in the whole cite for Indy.

Add on top of that all of the reasons why most of the country can't stand the Pats and you're going to get solid Colts support here.

I agree with this, but YOU'VE certainly never acted like this after a Pats win. It's always been about the refs with you as well. I disagree with both of you.

far be it from me to beat a dead Brady, but as the screws got tighter in the second half it was interesting to see that on 3rd downs, Brady was throwing screen passes or draw plays and not trying to throw downfield at all. it is a luxury that good teams have, but tonight his team needed more than the dink and dunk. unless you have Jerry Rice on your team, it will be hard to win a shootout running the offense like that.

Did it follow it up by ranting "AND WE LET THEM OFF THE HOOK???!!!?". If so, then it is true he hired Denny Green as his media adviser.

Seriously st. cronin...

The Pats have had many, MANY things bounce their way in the last 5 years that got them 3 amazing Super Bowl wins. I will whole-heartedly agree that the Colts had a couple of calls go their way, but to cry victim here is just absurd. It was not some huge lobsided deal, the Pats have had things like this happen many times over in their Super Bowl runs, and let's face it... if the Pats don't fold in the 2nd half, the refs have nothing to do with this.

Good game by the Pats overall, but I'm VERY happy to see Peyton pull this one out. It was a great football game to watch.

Pats have no good recievers. They don't even have any DECENT recievers. They haven't had a downfield game all year.

Wow...never thought about that storyline at all. There are so many storylines for this Super Bowl. Peyton Manning finally getting the Super Bowl. Dungy possibly taking his worst defense through the playoffs. Lovie sticking with his streaky quarterback and having it pay off. Vinateri going to the Super Bowl again. Chicago finally getting there after 21 years with another great defense (well not as great as the 85 team, but that is my opinion). Eli pretending to root for his brother. And yes, two black coaches making it to the Super Bowl is a good storyline considering that there hasn't been one before and now you have two.

Yet they got this far and were favored to win the SB before today's game. Seems like others teams whine about their receivers dropping balls, the Pats just went 13-5 with no decent receivers, alledgedly.

Why are people disputing the roughing the passer? The rule says you can't hit the QB in the head and Manning was hit at least 1 other time in the head and it wasn't called. So, quit complaining and wear it.

Oh hell no, I am definitely not a homer. I bleed Charger powder blue. You just have to admit that he has done more with less talent than any other Hall of Fame quarterback. I had a similar arguement for Barry Sanders. Unfortunately, though, he didn't win any Super Bowls.

I've always given the Patriots their due for being a great team. I've just had the audacity to admit they caught some incredible breaks over the years, and therefore come off as a Pats hater to some on the board.

I was dead wron gon Brady. I thought he was a flash in the pan and got hot one year. He's a hall of famer. And the Patriots always did what they had to do when they got (or were given) their breaks. Always. Great teams do that adn I've never even tried to hint that they didn't deserve their closeouts. I just stated the obvious. . . not much differently than I stated it in the post above where I admitted the refs blew two calls horribly and that the Colts finally got some breaks the Pats have always gotten.

I don't see a Colts fan on here saying I'm taking away from the Colts win by admitting that though. When I make the same statements that way against the Pats, I'm a hater and just too stupid to realize the Pats earned all those breaks and missed calls.

Tonight the Colts got em in the second half and to have a Pats fan being upset about it is amusing, even if it is one of my favorite posters on this board.
