unvote Hoops
unvote nightfall for a probably very brief time. Probably too little to late. But as a question, given the chance of a brutal, do we just want to let Hoops live on and let Jackal have another shot at it? Any arguments against that? |

Jeff, what are you worried about? Might as well get the brutal out of the way now (if I am) rather than be worrying about it later.
Take the bird in hand when you have a commanding lead. Unless you think that I have a fleet of wolves behind me and that I'm trying to goad you in some kind of a "game over" scenario. It's Day 3, we're getting manhandled. I'm just looking to end the agony a little more quickly. |

I say we just take hoops and if he's the brutal, he's the brutal. Letting him live longer, especially considering it's hoops, is probably a risky idea.

I worry about you hurrying nightfall and now questioning me .
If you are the brutal we get 0 more scans. If you are not we get 1. There is no downside that I can see in letting Hoops survive the day. Given hoops actions I'm almost sure he's the Brutal. Guys, please don't rush to vote and think this through. We have plenty of time if we want to vote someone else today and Hoops tomorrow. |

Hmm, I just noticed a trend.
Both of the wolves have been paired with roled villagers. Eaglefan/Danny Hoopsguy/Jonathan Jackal, you might want to scan your roommates sometime soon. Just sayin' ... Looking back, I really wish that I had just put the D1 vote on Jackal. That was a pretty bad day ... yeah. |

Of course if Jackal has a wolfie roomate, we get 0 scans. But still, we don't lose anything that I can see letting him wait a day.

It is risky because I'll keep posting and blot out meaningful analysis as long as I'm alive. And because people will naturally want to try and find the 1-2 nuggets of goodness in the steaming pile of BS that I'm going to end up inevitably spewing. Or at least that is the argument I normally hear |

interesting theory Jeff.
There is a certain logic to it - not sure how many others you would be able to get to go along though...willing to entertain the idea I suppose. UNVOTE NIGHTFALL |

I've seen hoops pull some crazy stuff. In general, if hoops is a wolf, the more he talks, the less benefit for the village. He's not going to give us anything to go off of, and they could still kill Jackal tonight (so we'd get no scans that way) |

I think even a single nights scan is worth too much, that's my opinion. I have a hard time believe people will buy anything an admitted wolf says.
If anyone plays off his logic they will become an immediate suspect. |

See, this is why we don't want to let hoops live. Now I know I'm good (I think I have at least some modicum of trust, enough to say that without a complete feeling of empty keystrokes) but watch him toss this stuff out and get people in a tizzy. I'm tellin' ya Jeff. It's likely not in our best interest to continue his ability to post. I mean it's only 50/50 he's the Brutal anyhow. |

The only way he gets killed tonight is if he rooms with one. They'd have to be pretty stupid to make that move. I wasn't going to mention it in case they were, but alas... I'd like Danny to confirm he will be protecting him tonight to make sure. |

Is that their only kill method though? Being a roomate? Maybe it's their only 100% kill method, but with all these rooms, one has to assume that they have a high shot at anyone. And I don't want Danny to say one friggin word here on who he is protecting. Let's not forget we have two outed roles in play. |

Give me a break.
Danny is going to protect the seer. It's to valuable. I can't think of a reason not to. I'm totally missing your arguments heinz. If they kill him after Danny protects him, we know it's one of two people. Otherwise we get another view, which is huge. Am I the only one in this game that sees the value in just a single view? I fee llike I'm taking crazy pills!! . |

Remaining players:
DaddyTorgo - cast a vote on EF D1, would the wolves have been ballsy enough to have multiple votes on one of their own in a close race? Nah, he has to be a villager. Grammaticus - did not cast a D1 vote when he could have saved EF. Definite villager play in hindsight. Of course, he did cast a bad initial vote on D3 before the reveal, but let's gloss over that for now. Danny - is probably going to be snapped up when the real bodyguard reveals soon. But I love the job he has done up to this point as the Janitor. Top notch, top notch! Telle - very suspect D1 vote, sometimes target of my "throw-away build suspicion" posts in the thread. Someone to strongly consider for your D4 vote if the seer doesn't hand you another wolf on a platter. Hannibal - he bailed out a wolf on D1, for crissakes! What more do you want???? Hang the bastard! Abe Sargent - it is pretty well known that people who post with real names on FOFC are 73% more likely to be wolves. So he has that going for him. Jeff - the man is a villager. I have no arguments to persuade you otherwise. If you are having doubts, please check them at the door. Trust me on this one. Barkeep - unless the Seer is messing with you, this man is a villager. If I wasn't so sure that Danny was the Janitor I would try to suggest that BK is, but that would come off like me being a wolf trying to trick you, right? Chief Rum - the man callously ignores threads by day and eats students by night. Wolf, wolf, wolf. If that argument does not convince you, then take a look at his voting record. Heck, he probably won't even vote for me or vote nightfall today. RPI-Fan - wolves love hockey, engineering, and riding atop of vans. RPI fits all three of these characteristics. The Jackal - the real seer has to be wondering what the hell is going on with multiple wolves bluffing at being the seer and offing themselves in the process. Heinz - everyone knows this dude lies. He certainly has Clap fooled this time around. |

Ok, boils down to this for people keeping score. Two risks, need to pick one.
A: Vote Hoops and risk losing tonights view B: Vote someone else and risk people being dumb enough(yeah you ) to listen to hoops, but guarentee another view. Just seems pretty clear cut to me. But whatever. If I am missing another way for the seer to be killed other than Danny not protecting him or a roommate killing him, let me know. Obviously I'd change in a heartbeat. |

I am only doing this in case nightfall passes soon. If time permits I'll change my vote, even if Hoops looks like the sure winner.
At this point I just don't see a single reason why Hoops should go tonight, but I do for why he shouldn't. vote Hoops |

We should be voting hoops so that way he isn;t sent out to do kills. Often in games, the wolves have to choose one to do the kills, and that is who is hit by the BG. Kill hoops so they won;t have a free person to send out and do kills.

Yeah, Abe. Can you expand on the BG hitting a wolf? I remember similar rules in games passed, but I don't see it in this one.
Also, even if there was, I think a seer reveal has a much greater chance of being informative. I'm trying to dig my way through this thread. Has there been much discussion on RPI? I know he's probably been just busy. But 5 posts, I'm considering putting some fire on him just to get more "stuff" out there. |

Well if you're going down that road, then I think I should share what I know on RPI.
Basically, Day One, RPI PM's Jackal and I and says that he has a special role and wanted feedback on it from us. But didn't know what info to give up or if he should post in the thread about it. I then replied, well you might as well tell us now, since you've spilled the beans. THen you better pray we're both villagers. Then he never mentions it again. Later, once Danny revealed as the BG and JE was dead as the President, I PM'd again, saying, I presume you're the Seer, you may want to tell us you're scans so they don't die with you. At that point, I figured that if Jackal was a wolf, he'd have night-killed RPI. So now, here we are and either A) RPI has some sort of unlisted role B) RPI's role is the janitor and he didn't realize that he's not really a good guy C) RPI made it up as a wolf D) RPI made it up as a villager (why the hell he'd do this, is beyond me) Jackal can confirm all this |

I knew you wouldn't think I was a villager for long.
Anyhow, why would I be a wolf and post this and say that Jackal, the friggin Seer, can verify it? I wasn't going to post it today. My initial plan was to let RPI answer about it in PM, but if people are going to start digging into RPI I thought it best to say it now. |
