Wow. I just checked in at the end of page 6, and I need to get caught up. With over an hour in which to do it, I'll be able to get a vote in. I may reply as I go along if I see anything that demands a comment.

This is what I have so far I believe:
Saldana votes Eaglesfan27 (1) Eaglesfan27 votes Saldana (1) Blade votes Dubb93 (1) Rpi votes blade (1) dubb votes tanglewood (1) kingfc22 votes Alan T (1) Rpi UNVOTES blade (0) sirfozzie votes Saldana (2) Alan T votes Sirfozzie (1) Schmidty votes Dubb (2) Blade UNVOTES Dubb (1) Blade votes Sirfozzie (2) rpi votes Blade (1) Dubb UNVOTES Tanglewood (0) Dubb votes SirFozzie (3) coder votes mustang (1) sirfozzie UNVOTES Saldana (1) Sirfozzie votes dubb (2) Eaglesfan UNVOTES Saldana (0) Eaglesfan votes dubb (3) saldana UNVOTES eaglesfan (0) tanglewood votes Sirfozzie (4) kwhit votes blade (2) lathum votes blade (3) Rpi UNVOTES blade (2) rpi votes qwikshot (1) saldana votes sirfozzie (5) qwikshot votes rpi (1) qwikshot UNVOTES rpi (0) packerfanatic votes sirfozzie (6) desnudo votes kingfc22 (1) sirfozzie UNVOTES dubb (2) sirfozzie votes blade (3) kingfc22 UNVOTES alan T (0) kingfc22 votes sirfozzie (7) path12 votes kingfc22 (2) tazftw votes blade (4) Ok my notables that I see so far from day 1 are: -Sirfozzie starts the first run, and starts the questionable kill the old player plan. -RPI has voted and unvoted 2 different times already, and now has his vote on a new player who is totally unrelated to all of the current debates and votes/runs. -Schmidty starts a second run on Dubb. -Blade starts a run on Sirfozzie (likely in retaliation to Sirfozzie's strategy). -kwhit starts a new run on blade -qwikshot and path later on throw a few votes on kingfc A list of people who seem to be toss on votes on various people: On fozzie - tanglewood, saldana, packerfan, kingfc on blade - lathum, sirfozzie , tazftw There are a large handful of people who have remained for the most part relatively quiet and behind the scenes too. Usually those are the people i am the most afraid of. |

you missed the chase scene, the comic relief and the inexplicable appearance by Eaglesfan's long lost evil twin brother, but then again, that's a reasonable summing up Alan.

I'm sorely tempted to vote for blade just because of the arrogance and divisiveness, but that's generally not a productive way to run things. For the same reason, though, I wouldn't want to go in for any of the others in the trio, so I'm not sure where to go. Usually, I just try to scatter my vote on day 1 (except in the cases of a seer revelation), but that'd be kinda pointless right now.

Well, if we're going to be down Blade or SirFozzie, I'd rather be out the former. Foz has a sense of humor.
Vote Blade6119 Not an ideal vote for me, by any means. I mean, he does, like, flip out all the time and stuff, but I haven't seen him kill anybody lately.

Even chuck agrees with my strategy of getting people riled up:
Men are like steel. When they lose their temper, they lose their worth. Chuck Norris And a few more for kicks: “When God said "Let there be light" Chuck Norris said "Say Please."” “I don't step on toes, LittleJohn, I step on necks!”

I'm always suspicious of those non-voters. Last game it was hard to get a rid on Superman especially after he had been converted because he missed a couple of votes.

Just got done reading today's developments...
My vote isn't a "throwaway" vote -- I feel Qwikshot has a greater than (1/#players) chance of being a ninja. Nothing more, nothing less -- I doubt I'll carry much of this sentiment into tomorrow (if I make it to tomorrow), but feel I ought to defend my vote, weak or not, such as it is.

If he doesn't make the vote I say Chuck sacrifices him. Last thing we need to get into is the mess that happened last game with all the non-voters.

alan, i dont understand your characterization of my vote for sir fozzie as a "throwon" vote, seeing as it was part of a a very long post explaining what my thoughts were up to that point. he wants to kill someone i consider very useful. at worst, its poor strategy, at best, we get a ninja in 5 minutes. what exactly is a throw on about that

Mustang did post in the thread earlier today (just within the last few hours.) I don't think someone should be sacrificed for not voting as that can be rather unbalancing to the game. However, I do think that non-voters should be replaced with one of the alternates if they miss 2 votes or they can't explain why they missed one vote. Of course, he could still vote in the last 5 minutes.

I was just doing a brief summary. I basically counted any votes that occured after fozzie had a little lead as a throw on vote regardless of the reason (since its day 1, and unless others here are more magical than me, I have no honest clue. Just am going off of his actions for my vote). Your vote basically made it fozzie 5 , dubb 3 and blade 2. Im not doubting your reasons as much as just including you in the list of people who "padded" fozzies vote total at the time. On my list of people that Im wondering about, you arent really that high up on the list yet, especially since fozzie originally voted for you anyways before changing it. |

As night falls Chuck Norris makes his way down to the village. You now see him in all of his glory for the first time. It is a story that those who live will no doubt share with their children, grandchildren, and the drunks that share the same tavern.
SirFozzie is resigned to his fate. Chuck Norris converses quietly with him for a moment, and then speaks. "SirFozzie was an honorable samurai. You have chosen poorly on this first day. I will miss his company and the laughter that always accompanies this man. As befits a warrior of his stature, I will allow him to commit hari kari rather than face my wrath" The samurai warrior appears perplexed, but heads back to his hut and returns with a foam baseball bat, oversized glasses, and a microphone. He wallops himself with the baseball bat, but the foam is not solid enough to wound him - just knock off the ridiculous glasses. SirFozzie then strings the microphone around his throat and attempts to hang himself from a tree while singing "Take Me out to the Ballgame" but the branch breaks. Chuck sighs, then brings out a tape recorder, and hits play. "Hey, everybody, did you know that Mankiewicz spelled backwards is Zwik .. Zheck-ew- ... Zzzz" - and with that SirFozzie's head explodes violently. A search of his home reveals a magnificent weapon. Chuck Norris steps in to claim it. "This weapon shall not fall to SirFozzie's killers." Votes: SirFozzie (8) - AlanT (137), Blade (149), Dubb (167), Tanglewood (324), Saldana (405), PackerFanatic (460), Kingfc (482), Qwikshot (569) Blade (5) - Kwhit (383), Lathum (387), SirFozzie (473), TazFTW (506), Mr. W (572) Dubb (2) - Schmidty (146), Eaglesfan (180) Mustang (1) - Coder (168) Qwikshot (1) - RPI (400) Kingfc (2) - Desnudo (466), Path (496) Last edited by hoopsguy : 01-30-2006 at 08:14 PM. |

In my opinion, that kind of thing is flat-out cheating. The fact that you're looking at "Who's Online" to see if someone's PMing, makes my opinion of you drop severely. I've brought this up in past WW games as being dishonorable, and I still do. Why play the game if you're just going to skirt the in-game stuff and stoop to simply using the messageboard's tools? Just slimey. I'd like to hear hoopsguy's opinion on this.
