No problem. I don't see it as a bandwagon. I wasn't comfortable voting either blade or dacman. st.cronin is someone I've been wondering about as well. I felt more comfortable with it.

So 4 Dacman, 4 St Cronin right? That would mean if WVU is right about his role that it's Dacman?

Whatever the results of the vote, I assume the 'seer' will be scanning either myself of blade tonight.

pass, can i just ask you to clarify what you meant by St cronin being the victim of my ploy....your statement had alot of negative connotation, but then you voted the same as i did...were you being sarcastic, or are you part of the camp that thinks i have been lying all day? thanks

I agree with this. I think saldana is being 'truthful' but has been misled by CW. Sort of like how GW Bush was 'truthful' about WMDs in Iraq. |

Well, I thought you were trying to trap either WVUFAN or st. cronin, and out them as a wolf. Since it wasn't WVUFAN, it's pretty likely to be st. cronin, no? |

Arguments fly, the rhino and the trout start to stink, and everyone is pretty much in a total state of confusion. Even the gods can't keep track of this mess. Finally, the decision comes....or does it? A hush falls unto the crowd as note one, but two people are agreed upon as influence by the demonic forces! Dacman and St.Cronin are led up to the executioner, and not even the hooded killer himself is sure what to do.
...but one person does. WVUFAN strides up to the executioner, and orders him with a commanding voice that only a veteran soldier has, "Soldier! Dacman is to be executed at once!" The executioner, outranked by the veteran WVUFAN, obeys, and St.cronin, quite relieved, steps back into the mass. Dacman, however, has no intentions of going lightly. He merely looks at WVUFAN, looks at the executioner, and begins to glow with an unnatural orange light. Out of nowhere, a firey sword appears in his hand, and with a single stroke of his blade, decapitates the headsman. Without another word, the elemental Dacman strides back into his quarters. Well, I said I wouldn't guess...but I'd guess WVU or st.cronin.
WVU for the initial whack or st.cronin for switching his vote off blade to dacman.

Well, I can safely say, I didn't expect the chain of events that has happened already to happen this early.

FWIW, I've had Grammaticus as a top suspect in my book ever since post #282:

Nah, in fact I hadn't thought of that at all. Just points out completely to me that saldana is a villager/demon. It was obvious, but even more so now.

It shouldn't be too hard to find. IIRC Grammaticus was having a tough time believing that an elemental would be outed if was an "unsuccessful" attack.

fwiw, saldana could easily be an elemental ... the only way to find out for sure is to lynch him.
In fact, his story might make some sense if we think about him being an elemental. |

Not at all to me. Saldana wouldn't want to out dacman. Period. The rules also state that an attempt on an elemental would reveal the elemental.
Seems clear cut to me.

He wasn't going for dacman, he was going for me and WVU (at least so he says). And what I'm thinking is that his story seems fishy - but with no real motive. If we posit him as an elemental, with a secret victory condition, the cognitive dissonance goes away. In that case, he's lying, but with motives hidden from us. It's just a theory, no real proof. |
