I assume that got cut off, and I assume you are going to ask if I would have drafted Worley even if he had not been on the list you sent me a few rounds ago - and the answer is yes. I forgot he was even on your list and I had been looking at getting him for a while...just didn't want to go too early (even man's nightmare, right? Hey-o!)

Haha - no worries. I was glad Gamel was there. For the potential he has, that could be a great late pick (and yes, I realize that is said with homer glasses on )

Not necessarily expecting him to be. But his position flexibility is nice and I'm hoping he can carry his spring into the regular season.

Just a reminder- we have weekly lineup changes so positional flexibility is good for injury and matchup purposes. However, you won't be sliding players with lots of flexibility into Monday and Thursday games or playing the daily matchups so it's not as useful as it can be.

SI

SI is trying to discretely say that he thought TRO's pick sucked.

Nah- but we do have some oddball rules and this is TRO's first go-round in the baseball league. I think this is the first year we've had this many newcomers in a while

I considered Murphy pretty hard, but I don't watch enough NL baseball to know if I like him or not.

It took the Mets a really long time to figure out if they liked him or not too.

Murphy seems like a good guy to have with his positional flexibility. Unlike SI, I still think that is important for reserves as it allows you to load up on mostly pitchers.

I like having CIs, MIs, and OFs who I can mix and match in case of injuries and short weeks but you usually have to pay extra (crappier flexible player vs a better single position player)

Well thats true, unless the player is better than what you could find on the free agent market at any given position there would be no point anyway.

He's always been up and down, but for a 21st round pick, this has the potential to be great.

And I was banking on that so I could get him in the 22nd!

You got a good catcher with great potential.
