Something about "who in the hell ...". And yeah, either he was in the middle of having a stroke on camera or he's drunker than Harry Caray.

Yeah, I was just chatting with ct and said something.

What was that? It honestly almost sounded like (no joking around) he was in the middle of a stroke or something.

I wondered if this was a development this year that I missed or something.

So.. everyone says he's drunk.. is this a new thing with him? With UT having a down year, I haven't watched as much pregame stuff this year.. but I don't remember ever seeing this in the past?

This sucks!

Texas would have likely been up 10-0, 14-0 if Colts hadnt went down instead we are stuck with this mess of a championship game.

This QB for Texas looks utterly lost out there.

Corso and Holtz both picked Texas, so I figured 'Bama might be in good shape with the two ESPN loonies betting against them.

And McCoy is done for the night.

As a lifelong Horn hater, I of course won't feel bad for Texas at all, particularly after what OU has gone through this year. And I thought Alabama would win the game anyway.

That said, I do feel bad for Colt, just as I did for Sam. He's a good kid, quite a gamer, and to get knocked out like that really sucks. I hope he goes on to great things.

I will put this out there.

If somehow this kid pulls this out they'll basically erect a statue in the center of the state of Texas for him.

Except for the fact that what I said would happen tonight is happening. Sorry that ESPN's love affair with Colt McCoy got you hooked. He's a good QB but the 180 yards he'd offer up tonight wasn't going to beat Alabama.

I feel worse for McCoy as this was his big moment. Bradford's injury almost seems like the world's way of saying "you moron" for not coming out last year.

I also feel bad for Colt. From what I see he's a good guy.

BUT if Texas had knocked out Ingram it would have been ok. I think Richardson is just as good.

Doesnt Colt have the most wins out of any QB in NCAA history? You cant honestly believe Colt wouldnt have had an impact on this game can you?

Texas could have been up 14-0 to start the game. Bama would have been in a world of hurt if Colt hadnt went down. Instead they leave 8 points off the board and their offense cant move the ball.

Where are you getting this from? Colt McCoy has been crap against any good defense he has faced this season. Why do you feel he will magically turn into Peyton Manning tonight?

Where am I getting what from?

Colt has the most career wins in NCAA history. Look it up.

Alabama left great field position for Texas two straight possessions to start the game. Colt doesnt guarentee 14 points there but I dont think 10 is reaching.

Colt is also capable of moving an offense and keeping the defense fresh. Have you noticed it seems like Alabama has been on offense most of the game?

Because I think a Heisman contender and leading NCAA career QB in wins is a quality asset on the field does not mean I have to think he is going to be Peyton Manning tonight.

Whats wrong with short passing at a 70 percent clip anyway? Time of possession is a good thing.

No, no...Garrett Gilbert and his 4/22 is just fine. That's what you want in a title game.

Did they just say that McCoy could have come back but they didn't let him do it because of his NFL prospects? I'm guessing that is not Texas making that decision, but his dad calling that shot. Seems like that hurts his image and NFL stock. If he won't come back in for the biggest game of the year and his career to this point, I would wonder about his toughness before I draft him.

I don't believe he would have changed the outcome one bit. I've had Texas scoring 10 or less from the day the matchup became set.

They seemed to make it pretty clear that Colt wanted back in but that everyone else agreed it wasn't worth risking his future over.

Do you really believe that Mack Brown and the Texas staff wouldn't let him into the game when the X-Ray was negative?
