2017 National Championship Game
vs. #1 Rutgers Scarlet Knights (13-0) vs. #2 Florida Gators (13-0) Lee Picks: Rutgers
Kirk Picks: Florida RU: A- OVR, B+ OFF, A- DEF UF: B+ OVR, B+ OFF, A- DEF We rolled into Pasadena pumped as ever. For the first time since 1869 we could say, "Rutgers is the national champion." After trading few punts, Harrell ran in from 10 yards, putting us up 7-0. Three minutes later, Florida rolled down the field and put it in from 5 yards on a run. The game was tied 7-7. From that point until halftime, it was a defensive battle. Florida threw an INT but we couldn't take advantage. At halftime: Rutgers 7, Florida 7 With 8:53 left in the 3rd, we were on the 1-yard line and Patterson, in for an injured Scott, hit our TE Joe Holmes on a fade route. We were up 14-7. After 7 minutes of strong defensive play from both sides, Florida made a big mistake, throwing another INT. We took advantage this time, and Harrell ran in for another TD from 5 yards out. Rutgers up, 21-7. We opened up the scoring in the 4th with yet another 6 yard TD run from Harrell. 28-7. We were coasting. But with 6:42 left, Florida's WR got behind the safeties and Rose hit him on a 52 yard bomb for a TD. 28-14. As Florida marched down the field, hoping to score and then recover an onside kick, we sealed our win. Rhodes jumped a pass from Rose and brought it back 52 yards for a touchdown! We were up 35-14 with 3:32 left, and we didn't let them back in. We are the National Champions of college football! Final Score: Rutgers 35, Florida 14. |

2018 Off-Season
Players Leaving Shit. We're losing a lot of players this year. As it stands now, we'll be losing 20 players. We'd be losing 5 starters from the offense and a whopping 9 from the defense. I'd love to get these guys to stay around. I did great on the recruiting front so I think I can risk some time with them. Starter HB Bryant Harrell. 6'1", 181 bs. SR(RS). 84 OVR Results I start out with Harrell. My offense has always been built around the run. We spend 60 minutes with him. He tells me it's a big decision and that he needs some time to think. I move on to Hughes. He was great for us and broke a few school records. I talk to him for 60 minutes and tells me he's made up his mind. He's coming back! I spend 20 minutes with Ratliff. I have some FS's ready to come in so it's not as important. He told me that last night he had a dream, and it involved playing on Sunday's. That solidified his decision. He's leaving. Next up is Steve Thompson, RT. We need him here. We spend 65 minutes with him. Fuck. He says it's a tough decision, but he's going pro. Big hole at RT for right now. Now it's back to Harrell. As of now, we have 6 hours 35 mins left. I spend 45 with him. He tells me that he's weighed all his options, and thinks staying in school is the best idea. Nice! HB Bryant Harrell. 6'1", 181 bs.
