Not looking forward to the black coaches storyline - is this really such an issue anymore?

Nice throw in the clutch Brady.

No fumble after the pick this time to save you.

Congrats to the Colts.......even Peyton Manning

I guess you and Tony Dungy can put a team over the top.

There were a couple of bad calls, but the Pats really crapped the bed by getting no points when they started at midfield near the end of the 1st half up 21-3, in addition to the botched 3rd and 4.

You know, it would've been very interesting if, when Marlon Jackson slid down and started getting mobbed by his teammates, he let go of the ball.

Nobody's going to talk about the officiating, but the Pats never got as much love from the refs as the Colts just did.

No, I think you make a good point. But people tend to view major "glamour" positions like that, as a microcosm of regular American society.

The same sorts of retread arguments get put out there, ranging from comfort level, to networking, etc.

I don't think browbeating or using the media as a sounding board is the way to accomplish progress, though. That said, it's still an issue...and I just take exception to the whole "oh, we're past that it's 2007" debate. Because we should be, but sadly, we're not.

Cronin, you know I love ya, and it hurts a lot..

but when you're up 21-3 and lose, you can't blame the officials. The officials should never have been a factor.

The Pats took their foot off of Peyton Manning's throat just before halftime, and that drive gave em 3 points, and more importantly, confidence

great game, great win by the Colts. NE's cornerbacks played very, very well tonight, but Manning still found the seams. I'll be pulling for the Colts.

I'm also happy for Bill Polian. One of the nicest GM's in the league who gets another shot at a ring after four losses by the Buffalo Bills and a loss by the Carolina Panthers in the NFC Championship game.

I'll see your pass interference and roughing the passer calls and raise you the tuck rule.

There's a reason why people are turning on the Patriots for being bad losers ... don't be that guy.

I agree with this. I was only rooting for Indy because the Pats beat my Chargers, but I couldn't help but be impressed with his performance. He has to be one of the top 3 quarterbacks of all time with what he has done.

As much as I hated the Bills always having the 'Phins number in those days, Polian is a TT GM.

...I think that's part of the reason why I'm almost as excited about the Colts winning as I would be if it were the Dolphins. I see a lot of Marino in Manning, so I'm living vicariously in a way through Peyton.
