I don't care how good a match up Rasheed gets, the Celts shouldn't be clearing out for him to take a shot.

What a disgraceful performance in the last minute by the Cavs. It's a 9 point lead, not 29 points! I would be so pissed if I was a Cavs fan.

+600. They quit. Every single one of them. Including Lebron. Just sad. He had a terrific game in terms of strictly totals. His shooting, turnovers and effort on D was truly pathetic for most of the night. Then the quit in the final minute. What an absolute joke.

I feel sorry for Cleveland fans. You don't deserve this. You don't deserve this at all.

I love how everyone is focusing on LeBron shaking hands after the game. In my mind, that whole thing was blown out of proportion last year. Quitting in the final minute is exactly what he SHOULD be ripped for. Yet the clueless sportswriters let him off the hook for it because they were so focused on him shaking hands. Whatever.

The entire team quit, but instead of focusing on the short term story they are all blowing their load over the long term one (where does he end up).

I've been shocked at the lack of stories about this in the national media.

Just that it doesn´t get lost in all the coming down on the Cavs, the Cletics played a heck of a series, great run that i wouldn´t have expected with how their season developed.

Can I just say, once again, how thankful I am that Danny Ferry wouldn't part with JJ Hickson (3.5 PPG in playoffs) for Amare Stoudamire back in February? The Suns would be out of the playoffs now and Cleveland would probably be playing Orlando for a chance at the Finals (and a better chance at keeping Lebron)

I hope JJ Hickson becomes the next LaMarcus Aldridge or something similar to make this failed trade not the travesty it appears to be for Cleveland fans.

Quick predictions on these series:

Orlando in 5.
Suns in 6. (the Suns have to win in six, they aren't beating LA in a game 7 at Staples)

I don't know about Orlando in 5. It seems like Boston has figured out Rondo is their best player. At KG looks like the best he's been all season. I think both conference finals are going to be a lot of fun.

Some of the free agency rumors on ESPN radio today:
Phil Jackson , Bron, and Bosh to the Bulls. and another one with Calipari, and same players.

Lebron Stays and the Cavs sign Ray Allen
Lebron and Bosh to the knicks
Bosh to the Lakers , Bron to the Nets/Knicks
Bron to the Heat alongside DeWayne Wade

this talk is gonna be crazy for the next month and a half, and I love it

From what the local Phoenix radio station said last night, had Cleveland agreed to include JJ Hickson - the Suns would have said yes. But, Cleveland just offered the package they did for Jamison.

Game one of Orlando/Boston today. Perkins and Barnes missed practice, but both expected to start. It'll be interesting to see if the long layoff hurt the Magic. They were playing at a ridiculous level a week ago.

I'm annoyed that both Boston - Orlando and Phoenix - LA have a four day gap between games two and three so there aren't any games to watch on Thursday and Friday.

I'm trying to think of the last time I witnessed announcing this biased. Midway through Q1

1) Boston has NO chinks in their armor. (they ranked 13th in offensive efficiency this year and 7th out of the 16 playoff teams)

2) I'd be worried if I was Van Gundy, Boston is getting any shot they want, Orlando is struggling to get good looks. (Orlando has missed 2 wide open threes, a wide open 18 footer, and two driving layups out of their 10 misses) Boston is shooting 36% themselves.

3) Playing no games shouldn't hurt Orlando. Umm, having over a week off doesn't hurt you at all? What planet are these guys on?

Boston looks good, but Orlando hasn't really gotten it in gear yet. Howard is missing a lot of hittable shots early, but looks terrific on defense and the glass.

Vince Carter by my count "had a hand in" 13 of the Celtics 18 first points, the guy really is a bad, bad team defender ...

Yeah, he didn't look good, but nobody on Orlando looked all that good in the first quarter.

Boston has to be thrilled they are ahead 8 with Rondo really not getting it going yet.

Orlando has to be thrilled they are only down 8 and are 4/20 from the floor.

I have to go against the announcers on this one. I think Orlando is getting a lot of good looks, and a lot more than I expected inside 15 feet. They just can't hit the broadside of a barn right now. I'll be interested to see how the Orlando starters play during their second stint as opposed to the first one.

Sloppy game by the Magic so far. I know they'll eventually start hitting the open shots but the turnovers are a concern.

If you are assigned to guarding the other teams best scorer it´s kind of stupid to get called for 2 moving screens ... first FG in 10 minutes, wow

Questionable call on the second one. Orlando just can't hit the bottom of the ocean right now. A lot of these are really, really good looks and they are just clanking them. Nelson won't have a more open three in the series than he did on that last one.

While I think Orlando can come back here, they can't let Boston get too far ahead. The Celtics are playing with a ton of confidence right now.

No favoritism! Not even for his brother! Jeff Van Gundy is heartless

Horrible looking offense from both teams.

The officials are also just letting them play. Bodies strewn around and still no whistles.

Yep, it's brutal. While Orlando benefits from Howard staying out of foul trouble like this, you have to think overall the no calls benefit the Celtics. The uglier the game is, the better it is for them.

Orlando starting to go to the hoop and hit some shots now. The threes are going to start dropping eventually.

That was an incredibly cheap play. it was an undercut move on the floor. he's lucky he didn't blow his knee out on the play, and the Magic are luckier Nelson didn't suffer a severe injury on it. On the positive side, they did call a foul on that. I think the refs have kind of forgot what actually is a foul and what isn't. On both sides.

Have to hand it to Boston. Orlando got hot and PP drilled some critical jumpers. Then he gets a bail out three point play. (horrible, disgusting call unless they want to start calling that all the time) and Boston is in control again.

Orlando has one run left in them before Boston takes game 1.
