FUCK I hate Eli but......

That was a helluva of a performance by Eli on that last drive. The Giants defense was outstanding all night long. Tom Coughlin is a Super Bowl winning coach. Wow

Congrats to the Giant fans. You and your team reall can saw that no one else thought they could do it.

Someone should ask Brady what he thinks about how Plaxico Burress actually overestimated the Patriots offense.

The Pats sucked tonight and it annoys me. Where was the team that blew everyone out the first 10 weeks of the season??

They absolutely deserve the label of biggest super bowl bust ever.....

Still better than losing to the Colts though. I'm happy for the Giants and their fans.

This is great for Eli! Media writes him off at the of the season then he proves them wrong by beating a 18-0 team in the Super Bowl.

What an asshole Belichick is. I don't care about the cockiness or confidence or whatever you call it, but walking off the field before the game was over was just fucking mean. I understand that he went out and congratulated Coughlin before, but there's no excuse for him to abandon his team who still had to go out there and line up for a play. Jeez, what a jerk.

I know most of us tend to be focused on most recent events, but as I'm thinking back right now, I'd have to say that Eli's pass to Tyree on that final drive is going to be one of the top 10 SB signature plays.

Agree, it was the key of this win, an incredible play first by Eli getting rid of the defenders and not falling down, and then Tyree catching that incredible throw.

Congratulations to the Giants and their fans. Your defensive line won this game for you, no doubt. You came to play and hats off to you. A well-deserved victory.

My biggest disappointment will be hearing about the '72 Dolphins for another year.

And for the haters in this thread (sheesh, I read just the last page and am already ready to puke), get a freakin' life, will ya? And Pats fans are supposed to be jerks...

The Vinatieri FG's.

One Yard Short (Titans-Rams)..

It's a top 5 signature play though.

I think so. The first individual plays that immediately come to mind to me(Immaculate Reception, "The Catch") were both in conference championship games, not super bowls.

The Randel El WR pass was big for me, but Tyree, and the ensuing events actually made almost as happy as when the Steelers won.

Right now, I can't think of any that I'd say were bigger and more spectacular either. I was being conservative when I said top 10, because I know I'm probably being biased by the recent nature of it. However, I think that is a play that is going to stand the test of time.

Honestly, I think this one is bigger than One Yard Short.

That one required one man to step up and make a play on Dyson.

This one required Manning to evade, what was it, four guys? Stay on his feet, regain his balance, and then take the shot downfield, and then *Tyree* had to catch the ball and hang onto it on his way down. It needed near-perfection on both ends of the ball to make it happen.

Now as a very outspoken anti Pats fan from Boston who many of the Pats fans on the board here no me to be hats off to all the Pats fans on this board for a great season and for showing great sportsmanship here tonight. You guys all are a class act in my book and I doubt if I culd have been as gracious in defeat as you all have.
