One additional note...it seems like we opened most of the boxes covering recognizable characters. I'd hate to see how this would have gone had we started on the other side of the board. Fortune seemed to be with us on this one.

To me that appears to be 4 people guessing Ratchet and Clank. This is a correct. Guess. I don't even know which R&C game it is from, but that is what it is. Got football tonight and I will try to get board two rolling tomorrow before I head to Little Rock for the game. The group pot is increased by $20,000.

Yeah, we were screwed if we didn't start near the character.

Screenshot #2 of 3. Worth $25,000 if guessed after the first set of rolls (2 rolls). Buying another roll will cost 5k. Buying another will cost 5k, then 7.5k and 7.5k for subsequent.

Initial thinking: we could combine 5+5 and 5+5 and 5+3+1 to open C5, C6 and C7. That said, I do think we should try opening B2 for potential header info first.
claphamsa, interested in teaming up with me to open B2?

I'm taking that as official from MIJB to try to spur a little action, I guess. Hope I'm not out of bounds.

Why don't we try to go with C3 and work our way closer to the center of the picture? Anyone want to team up with me?

Well, not much flexibility in moves here. Nothing connecting with all of our 5s. I guess E3 or C5 make the most sense, with nothing really being a good option?

I think either option is fine. Pick one of the two, and we'll combine some spots in our next turn. We do get another free one, so no worries.

I'll move to C5 as long as someone else is willing to combine with me on this move.

I say BrianD and I combine for D4 since it looks like that brown thing goes in that direction in the picture. You in, BrianD?

That would leave Clap + Butter to do D5 and we are getting a block of squares together. I'll be on outside looking in on this one, but I think that is fine given the numbers we rolled and the options on the board.

Looks like the middle of the board is going to be important for this one. Should we remove a 12 either at E4 or F4?

I don't see how we can guess with that picture. I say we purchase another roll.

Another roll, but I'm much happier now than I was over the weekend. That last piece gives me more hope for our next couple of moves. I think we attack the E and F rows aggressively and see if the stuff in "E" is a mouth with teeth.

We could use these numbers to take out the top 12 and 11 in the F column...

I agree on F4. BrianD and Butter_of_69, interested in combining our numbers for the 12?
That would also leave a 2,2,3 and 4 on the board for plenty of opportunities.

I do not see ways to get three pieces that connect to our existing area with these rolls. If we are settling for two, then how about the following?
Hoops (4) + Butter (6) + Sami (2) = 12/F4 MIJB (3) + Clap (2) + BrianD (3) + Poli (3) = 11/F3 |

Pfff, I liked my spread to get to 11 and 12 better.
But yeah, I'm in for the 4-some. (seems to mean all 4 posted a 'yay')

It reminds me of the Japanese character Domo, you know, the brown guy with teeth.
