i don't know if i'm coming in just as a thread/topic is dying down, but i missed all the last 8 pages of banter attending to the birth of my firstborn. i don't like it being insinuated that i made this up. i think it's been generally established that i'm awesome enough in my own regard that i can generate attention through the sheer awesomeness of my posts, and not some elaborate made up controversy. i don't see how it's hard to understand. one sec you're logged in under Hell Atlantic. as you're viewing a thread, someone behind the scenes changes your screen name (mods or administrators can do it, i had the ability to do this when i ran a website and i wasn't even using vbb, i can only imagine the tricks and toys at one's disposal here), so that when you exit a thread and click on a new thread, all of a sudden the change has taken place. there's no logging out and then in needed - simply put one user name is deleted and another is put in it's place. if i knew this from the start my 1st post in this thread would have gone in a different direction. instead of a "what happened" you'd get "i don't agree with this decision".

what group is cuervo - a known and admitted Solecismic antagonist - a part of that he has the ear of the head of this board and can get their will implemented whenever they don't like something/someone. i find it funny that someone who has butted heads with and pressed the button of Jim Gindin is now in a position to decide the punishment of others. i laugh at this folly.

I never said I don't like you. It's a message board, I could care less. Posting here fills in the dead space at work. If this place was all inanimate object drafts and miata talk I would never come here. FOFC is built on trainwrecks. Maybe it's a character flaw, but I enjoy all that stuff that seems to bother so many people. Hell Atlantic or Anthony? I choose Anthony every time because it results in time wasting but entertaining threads like this.

Hey, I'm just a man of ideas. I like to brainstorm. This particular idea just happened to be met with some enthusiasm. I certainly don't have enough clout to mete out punishment by my own whims.


re: Solecismic. Yes, in the past I was vocal about some of the shortcomings in the game. I've since mellowed and have learned to accept them (though somewhere in-between I did have a coaching bug addressed). Others however have picked up where I left off - they just may not be as visible if they are in leagues (IHOF included) that Jim does not participate in.

I don't think this was directed squarely at me, but since you quoted me before writing it, and in case you were skimming while catching up on the things, I feel that I should point out that I spent most of the thread arguing that:
1) What SkyDork did was wrong; and
2) That I felt it was imminently possible that you were able to stay logged in and being above board on everything.

Then I started discussing D&D alignments, for which I have no regrets.
