Good games Turner! I need to watch out for Vyborny, that guy's lethal!

Great games indeed! I need to watch out for Tollefsen, at least not putting goals in his own net. (I went to clear the puck away from the net, and I knocked it right in). Now, if only I could bottle up the video game Vyborny and send him onto the real team, the Jackets might actually make the playoffs. |

That was a tough goal, but the Coyotes will take everything they can get! Not exactly an offensive dynamo that team.

Was a good game...both of us blow power plays and then you finally came through. I just wish I knew how to score. I can keep most teams down for at least two periods but I never score goals...then I collapse pushing for goals in the third...goals I never score. |

Good games Galaxy. Two 2-1 games. In that last game Miller let in a couple tough ones.

Just played Scott to finish up our series, lost 2-1 both games.
Game one: He kicked my ass 15-2 in shots, with 2 goals, in the first period. I just couldn't get anything going. I came back in the last two periods with a much better effort, with a short-handed goal. Final shot total was 27-15. A well-played game by him. Game Two: Much better game. A goal Miller let in (shot it from just inside the blue line, no traffic, hit Miller between the side of his arm and his body) that I hated to lose on late in the game. For some reason, I was just bitter at how that happen (not at Scott, of course). Good series by Scott. Last edited by Galaxy : 01-25-2008 at 11:43 PM. |

I'd be bitter too man, don't worry about it. The first goal trickles just across the line and the second one had no business going in. Well played game.

Yeap. Two great series against two great people, look forward to the next round (not tonight, however). Miller seems to be on-and-off in my games so far. |

Darn, I was playing College Hoops last night, and I forgot to join the league. Maybe today, if I manage to get myself over to the 360.

I just lost to the Wild in my dynasty and I'm now 4-7-0. I'm 1-5 since my 3 game winning streak.
A few weeks ago, I almost wrote this game off because I didn't want to put the time in to figure out defense, I was used to NHL 07, but I'm glad I did. This might be my favorite console sports game of all time. I love how the AHL is in the game and you bring up that rookie for his first game! One lazy retreat on defense and the game can slip away just like real life. Not to mention the game flows at 60fps without a hitch. |

Well Fidatelo whipped me 6-0 today. Roloson was an absolute sieve and I couldn't even get a single shot in the first period. I was better in the 2nd and 3rd but it was already too late. Oh well. Rowech, I might be able to get a game in tomorrow around 3pm.

Had a good game today with Rowech and lost 1-0. Somehow my settings got switched so that the camera was locked on the guy I was controlling and couldn't get out of it. lol. I paued a couple times to try to find where to change it but to no avail. Oh well, a good win for Rowech. Mizzourah, tell your buddy I am sorry for not accepting his invite but I was beating Detroit in a Dynasty game and no way was I cutting that game short.

Lost 3-1 to MM (2 short-handed goals), and then lost to Fidatelo. Miller, for some reason, cannot stop the clear long-distance slap shots. I'm a disappointing 1-6-2.

I'll admit that with Phoenix I must be a most frustrating (and possibly boring) opponent. They aren't skilled enough for me to run and gun, so I just play the most stifling defense I can, and hope that I can put one or two in with slappers or rebounds. Whenever I ever fall behind though, I'm pretty much doomed.

It worked. Kind of like New Jersey's trap defense. I couldn't carry it in. I had to either dump it or take long shots from the outside. Whatever I tried, I just couldn't get many good chances. Last edited by Galaxy : 01-29-2008 at 10:52 AM. |
