Yeah, last year wasn't a bad draft for the Knicks at all. Frye in particular was maybe a questionable selection at first, but he was often their best player.

There is absolutely no excuse for this year. Renaldo would have been around in the 2nd round, and Marcus Williams is going to make some teams regret not picking him up. Perhaps none more so than the Knicks, though.

I'm a little confused...why is everyone so down on Portland's moves? Yes they made a lot of deals...but aren't they walking away with Roy AND Aldridge? Two guys who really could've went 1-2?

Well..Justin Williams was the only player in D-1 to be in the Top 10 in blocks and rebounds. So...he's not exactly a slouch, even he did play on a terribly coached squad.

He's been on most mock drafts as a 2nd rounder.

Roy will be good, though I'm not sold on Aldridge.

I don't think everyone is down on them. The ESPN guys just seem to have oddly fixated on them for no reason.

I'd love for the Bobcats to get Justin Williams in the 2nd round.

I watched him play. He's going to be a decent player for someone, especially as a second-rounder. He played HS ball in Chicago and only came to Wyoming because he thought he could dominate our league (and well..he did) when he could've gone somewhere better (but with more distractions..).

I think he'll be a solid pick for someone. I'd love to see him fall to the Nets, but...I don't know that it would happen that way, at least..not if teams are smart.

But with the way this draft has gone, seems like smart is overrated or at least, in the eye of the beholder.

I was pretty unhappy with the early moves, but now that the dust has settled - it looks like we could have pulled off one of the best drafts ever. Roy and Aldridge, for basically nothing. I dont like giving up Tfair, but Roy is everything Tfair was supposed to be, yet has all the experience from college. Aldridge is plain nasty inside, something we havent had in like ever. Now what to do with Przybilla? My ideal was selecting Morrison and moving Miles asap. Looks like were stuck with Miles for a good while longer.

Yeah, could be some steals in this 2nd round. Gansey is still on the board too.

Well Stephen A is just being Stephen A

I think it really bolis down to whether or not the trades needed to be made to get those players. I did not think they needed to trade with the Bulls to get Aldridge. Maybe they thought someone was moving up to get him. Who knows? Similiar situation with Roy. Now maybe the Wolves were going to keep Roy. Again who knows. But I can understand why you question making trades when you were getting the guy you wanted in the spot you were at anyway.

The Grizzlies look a lot better today, but I would have rather moved Miller than Battier. Plus, I hope they didn't get Swift back, that guy is a head case.

Still, I can envision a break next year of Lowry, Gay, and Warrick flying up the court with Miller and Gasol following up for the half court offense.

I think the Blazers made great moves. Since when is Telfair anything worth holding on to?

I was thinking what they were going to do with Randolph.

Telfair is what, a third year player? Fourth year? Basically making him a college junior or senior? I think he's better than he would've been in college, I think in college he'd have either learned a lot or would've left earlier and done worse.

I think in the end, he'll have a better career than Marbury, his cousin.

Amazing. One team had to have a great draft not good but great. You could argue that every team had a good draft excetp that one team. Hey I can accept the reaches by the Warriors and the Sonics. I am not a huge fan of the Hawks pick but I chalk that up to Dookie bias as far as their pro players go. Hell I can even accept the idiotic potential trade the Rockets may make.

The one team that had to have a great draft had the worst draft.

Three guess and the first two don't count

Well, the Daniel Gibson rumours were true, though thankfully not in the 1st round. I'd still rather we had taken Dee Brown.

Daniel Gibson is probably wishing he came out last year. He was a projected lottery pick, now he's a early 2nd rounder.

He can, but he is real streaky. When he's on, it's lights out. But when he's off, forget about it.

He is a bit of an enigma at PG. His Freshman season he did great, pretty much carrying Texas after PJ Tucker was suspended. At the start of this past season, something just wasn't clicking, so he was moved to SG, and that is where he played most of the year.

Maybe with NY money. But he sure spends Oakland money pretty poorly.

50 million to Adonal Foyle
Something like 40some million to Dunleavy Jr.
A ton to Richardson(understandable) and to Murphy(very questionable)
Full MLE offer of 6/40 to Derek Fisher, who's decent, but aging.

Definitely not in the playoff hunt.

He's screwing the pooch on a pretty large level, just on a smaller stage.
