Well, I don't know either. It's a quote from the 138th episode spectacular and, yes, it's become pretty prophetic in that they really have had mostly wacky (read: stupid) adventures in the past couple of years. I'm just not sure why today of all days.

Actually, I think they have improved somewhat this season. Fewer "Simpsons Go to......" and celebrity episodes.

I was talking with a coworker and that line came up. That's all.
