NFL Pro Bowl voting.
http://www.nfl.com/probowl/ballot
I just noticed that voting is open, not sure when this started and if it has been talked about here but I haven't seen any recent talk this weekend. Anyways, I am in the middle of voting right now and I have to say this is a pretty odd year of voting for me. Hell, I just voted for Jake Plummer to go to the Pro Bowl. I never thought I would do that. And I really had no idea Joey Galloway was having such a good year for Tampa. Time to finish this up I think. Anyone else do it yet?

Assuming Manning will start for the AFC, I think this season they should make an exception and put Carson Palmer on the NFC's roster.

I just got to CB's and Ahmad Carroll is on the list. Someone must be high. Just because a guy starts doesn't mean he should make the ballot.

So my vote for Kevin Faulk must have been a bad thing.

I voted for Jake as well... that would be funny. Seeing him down there.
edit: Though I never realized the Shawn Alexander already has a good season worth of stats (though I did know about the 20 TDs) and there are 5 games left!

I'm a huge Manning guy, but I wouldn't mind Palmer winning enough voted to be starter. He's having an amazing year. |

Wow. Looking at the ballot makes one realize just how crappy NFC QBs are when compared to the AFC.

Butter you just made my night...having lived through a decade and a half of the NFC simply dominating the game of football, it warms my heart to see the AFC in that position for a change!

Seriously. The NFC was a machine there for quite a long time. |

And the AFC kept sending in the sacrificial Denver or Buffalo team to get waxed. Year after year. It was like watching Duke against Florida State... sure, they might be in it for a quarter or two, but you just knew the 28 point quarter was coming, and then it's just a matter of time before you got bored and switched over to porn. Of course, that might just be me.

Regarding the conference power shift. I'm an "NFC guy" and grew up watching the NFC teams being the bread and butter of the NFL....feels kinda "stange" nowadays to see all the good teams, good QBs ... in the AFC.
It used to be the loser's conference. Remember the time when we knew, for sure, that the winner of San Francisco / Dallas would be the SuperBowl champ ? these two were head and shoulders above every other team. Even in their own NFC.
