Anyone for Scrabble?
Anybody? This is one place I've found to play one... the only problem is, the game creator has to make passwords for both players. But you can change your password if you're the other player during your first turn. You can actually do 2, 3, or 4-player games.
A friend just showed me this website yesterday, beat me, now won't play me again. It's pretty slow paced, but not as slow as an e-mail game.... It also has a dictionary built in at the bottom of the page so you can make sure you are using a usable word before you play instead of just making crap up or misspelling something, you can also challenge words if you want... but the dictionary thing just makes it easier to see if a play is valid, and helps you before you put a word down. Anyway, just thought it might be fun if anyone wanted to play. If you do, PM me and I'll start one up.

Just play Literati on Yahoo. Essentially the same as scrabble and less hassle it sounds like.

I don't like Literati... I like the old familiar Scrabble. Plus, this you don't have to sit at a Yahoo table and have time limits... it's more like play by e-mail, but faster than that even. You can go off and work for 15-30 minutes, then come back and play a word, and leave it again instead of being on a strict time limit.

Internet Scrabble Club is the only place to play Scrabble that is worthwhile. And, no, Literati is not Scrabble. It is similar but Rugby is similar to football, too, right?
www.isc.ro btw, yeah I'll play you. I consider myself proficient at the game. My handle is Gorgonian there, but I let it lapse and all of my rating data is gone. Haven't played there in awhile, it may have even lapsed again. |

I'd love to start playing at ISC. As an aside, I'm thinking about getting back into FIBS (First Internet Backgammon Server), too. Anyway, I'll sign up for ISC sometime today, and we'll see how it goes.

I've signed up for ISC, my name is Butter... if anyone wants to send me their name, I'll "Match" you.
I think the reason my friend is doing the other way, is because it doesn't install software on your CPU, it's totally web based. But probably worse. Anyway, yeah. Anyone who wants to play send me their ISC name. I've never used it before, so it'll be a learning experience for me.
