Can't read or write? Be a cop!
A real advertisement from a New Mexico Newspaper...

Ahhhh hahahahahahahaha
That's hilarious. I hope it's a bad joke though. If it's real, it's as scary as it is funny ...... |

Wow. That's almost as scary as some of the rules they're bending for Army recruits.
EDIT: Ok, actually it sounds very SIMILAR to some of the rules they're bending in some Army recruiting offices to try and get Army recrcuits (things come to mind about not being in peak physical condition and having a history of substance abuse, especially). Guess everyone is hurting for help these days... /tk

That cannot be real. All it's missing is the "enjoy donuts and a fresh cup of coffee?" line.
I'm hoping the "Where things are easier" tagline is the city motto, not a selling point for joining their police force. But I'm unsure about a lot of things at this point.

I wasn't willing to give this much credence until I discovered their city's homepage which is chock full of broken pics and reveals that yes indeed the police department does use some random New Mexico isp for its email.

Ah...looks like someone with an agenda. There appears to be a common theme among some of the stories linked and the editorializing in some of the ads.

Well, I did get pulled over for speeding and when I asked the officer what the readout on the radar gun said he was perplexed. He then wrote me a ticket, but that confused me due to the fact that all that was written on it was a shaky "X."
