What the Hell Was That All-Star Opening?

A Bad-News Bears commercial and crappy clips of players and muscle cars.

I'd al,most rather have another Will Smith song.

I don't who that red blob sitting next to Kevin Kennedy is, but if her goal is to land the role as Kirstie Alley's stunt double in Fat Actress II, she's got the job.

Tip: don't actually say that in front of said pregnant woman. That could cause problems.

All I saw was 5 seconds. I'm glad she has an excuse.

Classy move for the moment of silence. Didn't know that the British national anthem was to the same tune of "My Country Tis of Thee".

Unclassy move to not televise the Canadian national anthem, as is the recent trend. Does anybody remember when they stopped showing it in the US market?

The Fantastic 4 tie-in was the worst tie-in ever in the history of life in this universe.

And once again FOX has to whore some kind of product .... showing how you can edit frames using MS Paint 95.

Scooter must die! I love trying to bring sports to non-sports fans. ESPN did a great job with this with their NHL Rules games. But he's just insulting to everyone's intelligence. He's like Clippy for Office.

You've never heard of BeBe, CeCe, DeDe, HeHe, and ZeZe? I mean, I've never actually heard them, but they're well known for whatever they do. Kinda like Tom Joyner - the name is way too familiar, but I couldn't tell you a thing about what he does.

What, no mention of the pregnant chick cutting off legend Ernie Harwell in mid-story?

I wasn't paying much attention, but that's what I thought happened. They let him talk about the good ol' days for like 10 seconds, then she was like, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, you could jabber on for hours, I know...Billy Bob Thornton's got this new movie coming out!"

Yeah, class move there indeed. Between her doing that and that animated wax figure Kevin Kennedy pronouncing one of the all-time great Tigers' last names as "Kay-lin" (UGH!) in front of Harwell, Fox was hitting on all cylinders.

I do love Joe Buck, though.
