Below are my computer specs.....and since I am a tech idiot. Does my system memory mean I have two slots with a maximum of 512mb in each (for a total of 1024)? or does it mean I have 2 slots with a total combined memory of 512mb?

I will check when I get home tonight but there is a going out of business sale at a little computer store by my office and I want to stop in today before everything is gone...

it means 512 is the total maximum you can put in the computer (256 in each slot).
