I have to admit I was as large of a 24 fan as there was last year but can not for the life of me get into it this year as much. It feels like we're witnessing the same story arc with a slightly different situation.

I prefer last year basically because this year's beginning was so... uh, crappy, for lack for a better word. Still, this year's has come on strong, thankfully.
Now it's time for "The Shield" SI

last years was good, but i considered not watching this years until they offered that commerical free opener, i have ended watching all of them and so far it's much better. it's great. it's like a super expanded blockbuster movie .

Ignoring the kim subplot, as I think is the only fair thing to do, I think this week's episode was superb and really cements the idea that they're on an upswing.

I can't get into it because FOX keeps stopping and starting it...stupd network execs.

I didn't think last night's episode was that great. Not much happened really but occasionally they have to set things up again. With the events of the last episode and the twists thrown at us, I guess this was needed.

I haven't been watching. Last week, I overheard a few co-workers talking about it and decided to check out the episode summaries on the fox web site. After seeing what was going on, I decide to start watching again.
I have to admit, last night's episode didn't do much for me. Like a lot of you, I no longer care what happens to Kim, so that sub-plot does nothing for me. Last night also included one of the classic 24 cliches: the guy who gets killed right before/after giving some crucial piece of information. I get the feeling last night was a set up for future episodes, so that's fine. I guess after the nuke going off, the next episode had to be a bit of a reset. |

I want to see Kim accidentally walk into a strip club full of terrorists and have to strip for them... wait, that was my dream... This is why 24 needs to be on HBO, so this stuff will happen.

Did it feel weird to anyone else watching a fictional show discussing whether to go to war with Arab countries and then flipping to real war during commercials?
