Xbox Live Free Subscription Code Request
Ok guys, I need your help.
I finally purchased a cable long enough to connect my console to my router, and I was ready to try the Xbox Live. I put the code that I founded in the Forza Motorsport game and I got an "Invalid Code" message. I then called Microsoft and they said coupons like mine (with 3/31/04 as expiration date) were good until yesterday, and they couldn't provide me with another code because they don't have it. I also phoned the store in which I've bought the game but the guy didn't have a new one for me, and he said I have to wait until tomorrow; I'm not too optimistic about BTW... My question: anyone who has recently purchased a Live game with the 2 months free trial is willing to give me the code? If anyone has it, please PM it to me. Thanks a lot in advance. |

I don't know much about the international variants of Live, but it's entirely possible that a subscription code in an American version of the game may not work with Italian Live, just FWIW.
Hopefully it does, but I just wanted to throw that out there. |

"There is no try. There is only do." If you like playing online games, Live is a pretty good service and generally worth the money. If you can't track down a 2 month code, here in the US it's only $50 to try it for a whole year (about the cost of one game).

I ran into the same situation a while back. I went to a couple different game
stores asking the clerks if they had an extra one I could have. It took a couple tries and then I found a clerk willing to help. I ended up signing up for a year...just wanted to make sure the service worked like I thought it should and that my son and I would use it. Good luck to you. |

I want to do the same thing. I'd really like to subscribe to Live, but first I want to try if everything works and is ok. Well, I'll just start to asking clerks... |

Emiliano - you know you can subscribe on a monthly basis, right? Pay for a month - it's, like, $6 in the States, I don't know what they're charging in Italy - and if you hate it, you're out that month's subscription when you cancel. If you love it, you convert to a yearly subscription, and they prorate the balance so that you only end up paying the yearly fee.

Heh. Microsoft has info on the 2 month trial here:
http://www.xbox.com/en-us/live/2monthfreetrial.htm Including a note that it expired 3 months ago...
