EHM 2005: The beginning of a career

Sidney Crosby blah blah I think to myself while watching an old WJHC game between Canada and the US.

All the hype. All the records. I could figure out a way to stop him.

Then the phone rings.

"Hi, my name is Gervais Munger, general partner of the Chicoutimi Saguenéens" the man says in French.

"We are looking for a general manager, are you interested in the position?"

I think the guy is joking. How did he even get my name or number?

I decide to test this guy's theory.

"Sure, I'll take the job. Where do I sign?" I say

And before I know it, he hangs up the phone. I think to myself, 'alright he was joking.'

But then someone knocks at the door. It's Munger with a contract. Apparently I start today.

I have some work to do.

The first thing I do is look at my staff... We don't have a head coach, so I like the fact I get to pick my own. I also want to pick up an Assistant GM to ease the burden.

These guys are alright, but I want more guys here.
