Wow..

I remember when he came into the league with Dallas on that young team that was supposed to be great. It's interesting how so many guys come into the NBA but are able to craft decent careers, even if they're not starts. Like Christian Laetener and others..

But if you get traded as much as he has, it's probably because you're a useful role player. Still kinda crazy though.

I check his little bio/ player card there, and it seems to me he would be a decent starter.. Especially if he puts up those numbers off the bench.. He shoots well enough at least.. 11 teams in 13 years is just nuts though.

Yeah, he was back in the day. But I think teams now just rather play younger players and use him as a fresh set of experienced legs. You can sorta tell he's figured out that role is less pressure filled and can still make him a decent salary.

Especially to play on contenders, rather than spending his time starting for bad teams.

It could've been 12 teams, but he never reported to New Orleans after they traded for him.

Wow. It's been about a year since I last recalled that Mashburn, Kidd, and Jackson were once on the Mavs together.
