Unhappy Sigh.. what a week at work

Last week, a co-worker goes to the doctor to get a stress test and is later told he has lumphoma cancer. Two days later another co-worker goes to the emergency room with chest pains and has to have stints put into his heart.

Last night I get a call from my boss who informs me a third co-worker's wife (who is 30 years young) has just passed away. They thing she had a brain anyerism.

We have 18 employees in this region and this is just unreal. I feel so bad for every one of these guys, especially for Kirk and his 7 year old boy who just lost their wife and mother last night.

Please say a prayer tonight for my fellow co-workers and friends.

Thanks,

Todd

Sorry about your co-workers.

It reminds me of the college Finance class where in the span of one semester, 3 out of 12 kids died in seperate incidents/accidents/medical conditions. It was freaky sitting around looking at the empty chairs.

Brain aneurysms (sp) are scary. My brother passed away at age 21 when he was a sr in college. Went to sleep, woke up in the middle of the night complaining of a headache, took some aspirin, back to sleep....never woke up again. This was in 1972 (I was 9) and I remember the doctor saying that he could have bumped his head years ago, weakened the area and it finally gave way.

My prayers go out to your co worker and his family. May God grant them the strength to get through this.

My grandmother had a brain aneurysm two years ago, they did major brain surgery (But then again, I guess all brain surgery is major) and she is fine and healthy now.

My prayers and thoughts are also with your co workers

Sorry to hear about these things. It's scary what can happen to people, even young ones who seem to be healthy.

Yeah... very sad. I talked to him a little bit ago and I can't imagine what feelings have been going through him today. He said his wife's been in a lot of pain lately with various ailments, mostly migrane headaches. Too young...
