Interesting Story in Thread at Another Board

So I'm checking out the Sound Opinions message board, and there's a thread in their "off-topic" forum that's titled, "I think my neighbors are dead." Always looking for a little dead neighbor fun, I decided to check it out. It actually turned out to be a real story, and an interesting/funny one at that (despite the subject), complete with surprise ending. Given this board's fun with real-life dynasty threads, I figured a few people might enjoy this one:

I asked Marvin where they went in Europe and he was all, "Shit man, Hong Kong or something."

The story is a little warped, but a good read......

It went on forever and the guy didn't really have any details, I was already bored with the story before I even got halfway through.

Very fun read. I especially liked this response:

"I imagined his neighbors were actually intelligent walking talking guinea pigs who went to Europe and got food poisoning and I'm pretty fucking disappointed that it's not the case."

Good read.

My neighbors used to always stink. They had spoiled milk every week, it was disgusting. Would have been easier if they were dead(he ended up going to jail anyways).

On a scale of 1 to 10 where 10 is the Awkward thread, I give this about a 6.

I didn't find it all that awkward, since no one in the thread knew the people who died - including the guy next door.
