FBB Board hacked
I just spotted Brian/HeavyReign on the board and I just thought I'd mention that his board has been hacked. They were able to change some categories and post under his user name but it seems like a minor attack since most everything else appears untouched.
http://www.fbbgames.com/forum/index.php Another bloody edited post since my 'h' key seems to be sticking and not responding sometimes. Last edited by 21c : 03-11-2005 at 12:29 AM. |

HeavyReign,
That's really lame. Let us know if there is anything we can do, donation wise or in another way to help you out. |

Thanks for the heads up here and those that contacted me online. I'll have to see what I can do this weekend to get that working again. Not what I needed right now but maybe it'll serve as kickstart to get things going again. Figure it was bound to happen sooner or later.

Good to see the board is back . . . and that the nice HeavyReign is there.

I think there's been a discovered hole in these type of boards lately or something. My wife is part of a similar board she helps moderate and that board was brought down a week or so ago and got pretty much wiped out by an attack. Said it was related to something to do with PHP and not being up-to-date, patch-wise. She's pretty bummed about it because it's a mothering advice board and had a lot of time invested in it, both moderating and maintaining a blog, which also got cleaned out with the crash. The board owner started up a new site, but it's pretty reminiscent of what happened when FOFC went down...perhaps a hundred or so members, nothing like the size it was before it was brought down.
