Playing in my first online tournament at PokerRoom.com

Just letting you know, the blood rush is there...it just started...and I have gone from short stack to chip leader on my table and ranked 24th right now....

I finally played a tourney down the other day and finished "in the money." I could not believe the amount of stalling that went on at that point, especially when it switched to hand for hand mode. Enough to make a preacher swear. Still was nice to make about 80 bucks i wasnt expecting.

That is when you jump and play real aggressive. Players are so reluctant to play you can win a ton of chips quickly.

Finished 7th, walked away with $40 from it. Not bad for the $5 investment.

Many thanks goes out to GoldenEagle, as he helped me work some action that would have killed me, if I would have played with the heart and not the mind.

I am hooked though........

Thanks....so quick question.

I know I asked what people thought of what is the better site..

I notice a lot of you play at party poker. I will definately sign up there, and dump in some cash for playing over there....

but I just have an affinity for the PokerRoom software, especially after the upgrade a month or two ago....

It is just different strokes for different people. You can win a ton off ring game at Party but they tourneys suck. Poker Stars is probably the best to play tourneys at. I recommend just downloading all the software and playing in some free rolls to see what you like best.

By the way, I aced that test I was suppose to be studying for.

Congrats on the test...I am dragging ass today....btw, while I was playing in tourney, I was supposed to be writing 2 reports and working on a preso....If I didn't have the right priorities, I would have to kill myself
