Buddy of mine let me read this book, since Telfair had some nice things to say about Pitino in it.. but it had some interesting points..

Apparently A Ga Tech Booster offered telfair over 100k to play at Ga Tech, and according to telfair.. that was a low offer compaired to other schools..

On the other hand, Rick Pitino wouldn't even pay for his soda (ha), and he seemed legitimately impressed by the fact that someone wasn't trying to put money into his hands at Louisville..

This leads me to ask, as a Louisville Alum myself.. i couldn't dream of throwing money away to get someone to go to my school for 4 years.. much less the 1 tops telfair was gonna go

You also don't define your sense of self by how well your college team does. In this respect, you differ from the typical booster.
