Ah, storming the Sun Bowl field in '97 was one of the best times of my life...

You know, I think we should get Sadler and whoever y'all have as coach now to restart the rivalry. There were some epic Miners-Cougars hoops games back in the eighties and early nineties (I still hate Kevin Nixon, btw)...

Steve Cleveland is the current cougar coach for Basketball, Bronco is for football. And right now, the Y is horrible in both sports.

But I would be more than happy to see the rivalry renew (BTW...I think the loss to UTEP in 97 was the beginning of the Cougar downfall)

Wasn't Cleveland the coach who led them to the one win season a few years ago? I thought he got canned after that?

Naw that was Reid if I remember correctly.

Cleveland just led them to one of their better years last year...
