Richard Dawson. He got on my nerves after a few seasons.

Gene! Nice to see you. I've been watching you on The Name's the Same on GSN. Enjoyed Terry Moore as a guest the other night...sure was yummy back in '53, wasn't she??

As for the traditional-type game shows...what is it with Family Feud hosts? Louie Anderson was awful, and I didn't even like Ray Combs, although to list him might be piling on at this point.

I've always felt a little bit responsible (well, not really, but it makes the story better) for Ray Combs suicide. Back in my teen days I was in a club that would, for fund raising purposes, attend game shows. While waiting in line for Family Feud we heard that Ray Combs was really short and and very sensitive about it. During a commercial break, Ray was taking questions from the audience, so of course I got up and asked him how tall he was. He told me was tall enough to take me on. Everyone had a good laugh. Soon after he was dead.

Sheesh... I didn't even know Ray Combs was dead. But I was pretty disconnected through most of the mid-90's.

Todd Newton...he was annoying on E! and now he's annoying on Whammy! The all-new, low payout Press Your Luck on GSN.

Todd Newton was an ass when he was doing some "meet and greets" with people at a casino in AC. He was hosting the traveling Price is Right this past summer.

Mark Walberg, who was the host of Russian Roulette among other things, was friendly in the same role on Price is Right.
