A national championship is a pretty big bone.

No kidding. The only good part about the west coast and football was that Monday Night Football didn't keep me up past midnight.

Sic son of Colin on him. After he and his FCC cronies are through, Theisman would prefer getting levelled by LT again, and he'd go back to pronouncing his name THEES-man.

It's almost weird to think of the NFL before they added the 2 point conversion now. It took them much too long.

They were voted national champions in the Associated Press poll.

Under the system that all of the Division I schools agreed to participate in, LSU won the national championship.

I suppose I shouldn't point out the irony of someone with the handle "George W Bush" complaining about voting irregularity

I missed it. (Was out seeing Shaun of the Dead.) What happened? Did LT walk in and surprise him?

Well, I'm guessing the game was probably on broadcast TV for the local affiliates, so maybe he can be removed from the broadcasting booth for that.

Joe Theisman makes my blood boil. I've learned to tune him out, but for a while there I could not watch sunday night games with the sound on.
