Looking for multiplayer suggestion

There is a bug in FOF that prevents human controlled teams from signing free agents cut by teams during the first free agency period. However, computer controlled teams can sign these players. Is this a disadvantage? I think so.

I can not take the teams off of computer control because then those teams would be left with nothing when a human manager takes over the team.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how this problem could be solved or other leagues with maybe a work around fix?
