One of my friends is trying to sign up, and he informs me that he can't, because the image verification doesn't work. What's up with that?

fwiw, talking to him, he's pretty web saavy, runs a couple of websites and vb forums, and says: "they dont have gd library installed"
I don't know what this means, but hopefully Ryan S does. |

image verification is able to be turned on and off and from what i gather it doesn't work (atleast through firefox) without those files.
