The suspense is killing me!!! Who decided to hang up their cleats???
This is by far one of my favorite dynasties, and that's saying a lot, considering the quality writing on this board. Last edited by bertogarce : 02-12-2003 at 12:10 PM. |

Wow, this thread has been viewed 150 times in the last day and a half.
It is going to be a few days before I will be able to start posting next season, but I don't want to keep you all in suspence, so I will take you now to Snellville GA where a news conference has been schedualed. SNELLVILLE GA, Carlton Gomez has officially annouced his retirment from professional football. When asked why he was retiring after coming off such a sucessfull season he replyed, "Hartford is perhaps the worst managed team in football, and I just am not willing to play another game for them. The fans in Conneticut have been great, but any GM who would get rid of Marty Gage after his record breaking season is just flat out incompetent and I can no longer stomach playing for him." Harsh words continued to be directed at the Hartford managment. When asked about the statments Hartford GM Bobby Ochoa appeared to be stunned by the comments, before stating "no comment."

No, once these the other 4 retire, the dynasty will end. I have been spending all of my computer time with this dynasty, that I still havn't had a chance to try the newest update to FOF4

Never posted before in your thread.
But I would like to echo the enjoyment others have had. It is very unique and I look forward to continue reading. However, you will need to continue until all of their HOF eligibility is up. We must see which, or if all, will make the HOF! Regards, Chas

Alf, thanks for asking. My hip is doing quite well. I still can't play basketball, but I have been moving around very well for about 6 weeks. I am hoping to be able to start jogging this week.
Chas, I guess I slightly misspoke (mistyped?) above. I am planning on playing through the hall of fame. Marty and Al are locks for the HOF, and I think that Antoine and Percy have good shots at reaching the HOF, and I would want everyone to know that.

It would have been cool to track how much money each of the five great men have earned in their careers, to see what kind of wealth they will enjoy in their post-playing days.
