Mom Denies Stripping at Son's Party
MERCER, Pa. (AP) - February 28, 2004 — A woman accused of playing stripper at her teenage son's birthday party after plans to ride go-carts fizzled pleaded guilty to corruption of minors - but doesn't admit stripping for the youths, a prosecutor said. Patricia M. Johnson, 35, of Hermitage, will be sentenced April 1 on the misdemeanor corruption charge and with furnishing alcohol to minors. In exchange, prosecutors dropped 25 other counts including indecent assault, reckless endangerment and indecent exposure. Although the corruption charge carries up to five years in prison, Johnson will likely face probation because of her lack of a criminal record, authorities said. Johnson, her son, and three of his teenage friends met at a recreation center on July 26 and found that the go-carts they planned to ride were rented out. Instead, the woman bought the boys beer and rented a motel room where she attempted to touch them inappropriately, lick their faces and began to strip, police said. Johnson gave the boys $1 bills to put in her bra and panties and tried to lie between two of them after they went to bed, police said. Johnson did not specifically admit stripping in front of the boys but she did admit allowing the boys to drink alcohol drink and participating in horseplay with them, Assistant Mercer County District Attorney William Moder said. The corruption charge covers a wide range of inappropriate behavior with children under the age of 16, Moder said. Johnson's attorney, public defender Dan Davis, would not comment on what specific behavior Johnson acknowledged. (Copyright 2004 by Action News. All Rights Reserved.)

"horseplay"...that's a tricky legal term.
How much you want to bet she rented out the go-carts...

If it's Stacie's Mom then the first rule about seeing your friends mom stripping is no talking about seeing your friends mom stripping.

It's heartening to see that, even in desperate times like these, the thing that's really on your mind is getting your morning McMuffin.

Let's see what she looks like before anyone gets all excited.
Imagine the story above with the mom looking like Roseanne. Bleh.

From the smoking gun report, it looks like she took Klonopin, a benzodiazepene which can seriously disinhibit people, and alcohol together. These two drugs should never be taken together as they magnify the effects of each other. Not saying this mitigates her actions as she chose to do this, but it does help explain her ridiculous behavior.

OK, while we all would have appreciated attention like this from a friend's 34 year-old mother who looked like Halle Berry when we were 15, we must admit that this woman is off her rocker.
Sounds like a birthday party for Prince Michael Jackson II... |

I'd much rather gouge my own eyes out than watch my mom do the pole dance.

Well...regardless of what drugs were in her system at the time, she still had to come up with the thought that this was a good idea. I've been drunk, many, many times. I've even been stoned (not in a couple of decades, but still). It never occurred to me to dance naked in front of a bunch of 15 year old girls.

Nope. At that age, I'd have been more interested in getting them to dance naked in front of me.
