"As the World Revolves Around Pete"
or "More Proof Pete Rose is Delusional"
Link In an article on ESPN.com about Pete Rose Jr., they show an excerpt from his book... In "My Prison Without Bars," Rose said his son hasn't gotten a fair shake from major league teams. "I can't prove that he's been discriminated against because of what happened to me," Rose said in the book, released two weeks ago. "But he's had trouble sticking with a team over the years, and it hasn't been because of a lack of talent. It's true that he hasn't had a breakthrough year when he needed it ... and he has had some untimely injuries." I guess thats much easier for him to believe than the fact that the ONLY reason Jr, was ever called up to the majors was because he is Pete Rose's son. |

"Rose Jr. said he was unaware of the comments -- "I don't read books" -- and didn't care discuss it."

I think he meant:
"But he's had trouble hitting over the years, and it has been because of a lack of talent. Also, it's true that he hasn't had a breakthrough year when he needed it ... and he has had some untimely injuries."

Maybe in 14 years he'll release his next book, My Son Without Talent, and admit that he's been lying to his son all this time about how good he was.
