College Football on ESPN Classic

Is there anyone who enjoys this stuff as much as me?

It's so interesting watching these games knowing what is going to happen to these players in a few years.

For instance, it's strange to watch a dejected Jake Plummer after David Boston scores the winning touchdown against ASU 1997 Rose Bowl. How strange it must have been for these two to eventually play together at Arizona for a few years.

Also, it's interesting to occasionally see how many NFL players come from some teams. Anytime I see any Peyton Manning era Tennessee games, I'm amazed at how much of that Vol offense made it to the NFL.

I swear, this stuff is just perfect viewing when I'm also screwing around on the computer.

I was just watching that game....I'm not an Arizona State fan, but those were two BS pass interference calls on the final drive

the first one (against #3 on OSU) was complete and total horseshit. The fact that the announcer seemed to being going along with it really pissed me off. If anything, there was some slight offensive intereference towards the end of that play. It should have been a no call.

That second one against Boston seemed like a fair enough call to me, the guy was practically hanging on him.

And if that moron receiver had just gone down, they could gotten one last play off. It was a bit similar to this years St.Louis-San Fran game in the dome.
