Two people voted for Jimmy Carter over Thomas Jefferson?
I wouldn't have anticipated that.

To each their own I guess. I voted for Bill Clinton so who am I to judge. It a little tale of the tape on the Jefferson/Carter matchup...
TJ: Founding father, two term president, Declaration of Independence, Louisiana purchase, Lewis and Clark, on the nickel, two dollar bill, and Mount Rushmore. JC: Camp David accord, department of education (for some of you ), I guess since he is still alive he gets a pass in the money, statue at Georgia state capitol. |

And Jimmy Carter's Presidency put the country into the worst post-Depression downturn until 2008.

Yeah, Thomas Jefferson probably had the most influence on democracy as well. On the Louisiana purchase alone he probably had the most influence in terms of buiding an Empire out of any President. |
