Ugh another one gone. Amazing how many that I grew up watching, cheering, listening to as a kid have left us this year. Yeah I know they are celebrities not actual family members but having grown up with these celebrities there still is something more to them. Maybe it is just the fact that I am really starting to feel old?

So it sounds like she was done filming her parts for Episode 8, but that she'll have to be written out of Episode 9. I guess they also have time to give her some kind of send-off in 8, if that works with the story.

I think it's possible to admire the way she fought various demons for a prolonged period regardless of the outcome and still not gloss over the reality of how she died. She was pretty adept at acknowledging her flaws, seems rather incongruent that some fans have a problem with doing the same.

It was, I dunno, "insulting" for lack of a better word. She wasn't looking to be canonized best I could tell, she didn't seem like she was into having people make excuses for her either. Do I have issues with her behavior and choices? Yeah. But I can still respect the fact that she tried to own up to her own shit too. To me that's a more respectful approach to the circumstances of her death than trying to excuse them away (which I've seen done elsewhere online)
