Anyone play Clash of Clans?

I saw a post or two in some other threads but nothing definite.

Started playing a few weeks ago and my OCD tendencies really like the collect/gather/spend/defend aspects of the game. I'm still awful attacking but my defenses are pretty good. Still seems you never have enough walls to surround what you need to.

Is there a FOFC Clan or some other clan that people here belong to?

I play. I like that it's a game that I just check in once or twice a day and that's it. On the walls thing, I just got my town to level 7 and you get quite an addition of walls to add.

I've been in a couple of clans but found most people aren't sharing or giving out troops. Once I see it's a bunch of takers and not givers I drop out. I'd love to have an FOFC clan.

I've got a clan set up. It was originally for me and my cousin's sons and their friends, but they have moved on. So we can resurrect it for FOFC use if there is interest.

I play...Im in a cool clan.

I actually like the builder aspects much better than the war aspects. The troops are dumb and go the wrong damn way.

I played for a while but I started to play Game of War and really enjoyed that a lot more. It's just more in depth and strategic.

My small clan of 10 friends and family finally won our first war after 4 attempts. And this only after the opponents never really showed up to battle. Regardless, we all gave ourselves high fives over the win.

dola.

I'd consider switching over to a FOFC clan for a minute to see how this group would pan out. I'm always welcome back if it doesn't.

Our clan has grown to 20 and have enjoyed six consecutive wars without a loss (we have one tie in there).

I stopped playing a while ago when it started seeming more like work than fun, but might log back in to play with some FOFCers...

Ok, so how about that FOFC clan? I got bored trying to mine so I started dropping trophys and started spamming goblins and got up to where I basically paid for most of a level 6 town hall with a few hours of work. It does suck having a bunch of money because there are a lot of really advanced players with few trophies out there. Like I read that 20% of your cash on hand can be raided.

If y'all want to join, the one I have set up is called 'No Weaksauce". Lemme know your Clan name, and I'll add any requests.

She's not in Clash of Clans ads, she's in Game of War ads.

The marketing campaign supposedly cost 40 million dollars.

My clan has been enjoying recent success that it's difficult to leave them. We war once a week (search starts Friday night). So if an FOFC clan does their wars mid week, I would be able to flip back and forth and participate in both clans.

cartman, who are those currently in your clan?

I'm assuming you're The XBOXER.

Olaf Berserker is a new member... an FOFCer?

What's your clan name?

Mine is DIRE WOLVES, and my name is GizmoDogg. There are a lot of dire wolves clans, so look for one ALL CAPS with 16/50 members and 10k+ trophy count.

Yeah, the new ones are Toddzilla and stevew. The other are my cousin's kids and a couple of their friends. My cousin's son broke his tablet a while back, and since then none of them have been on.

So this is what I propose. I'll create a FOFC only clan. The first high level member I see will be promoted to co-leader so he can let me back in whenever I leave to war with my main clan.

At first we won't have wars until we get situated and have a better idea of our schedules. But it's at least a place to hang out and talk about our CoC.

Now we just need a clan name. Ideas?

So I created a clan called "GreatWhiteTrout"

I guess there were space limitations so I had to combine it to one long word. Even on the clan castle tag, the final 't' in Trout is bumped to the next line which makes it look odd.

Anyways, it's up and runnning. I am GizmoDogg.

Come on in, kick off your shoes, and play with your CoC.

Holy shit did these assholes just fuck up the game. My level 5 barch is utterly useless and archer towers are straight up terminator machines. I used to buy gems and boost in order to farm upgrades, but if they're not reverting this I'm done.

Move in your TH people. Update drops in 18-20 hours and no more free shield for getting sniped. Plus the TH holds a ton of loot as well.

People have been losing their minds over the most recent update. Me, I don't mind it at all. I think that so many are not used to their base getting ransacked that they get all butthurt when it finally happens.

I've moved from Gold 2 to Crystal 2 with almost zero effort. My base just seems to attract trophy droppers.

So they finally started banning people for xmod and the like and it's borderline hilarious on the xmod Facebook page. As a heads up, if you have any cheat software on your phone, even if you don't use it for Clash, they can supposedly detect it and you will likely get a 2 week ban. Best idea is to completely reset your phone to factory

I havent seen anything that crazy.
XMOD, though Ive never used it my son has, allows you to show logged in continuously so you cant be attacked. It also allows you to search for who to attack and set parameters (only show users with 250K+ elixir available to loot etc.)

It wasn't that, so much as it was all of the Chinese clans basically practicing their war attacks until they got it perfect and then saving the button press scripts and attacking on autopilot. You knew you were likely losing the war once their bottom 3 players would drop a few troops on your top 6 players and then miraculously they'd 3star your top 6 bases with insanely intricate attacks that were obviously rehearsed through hours of trial and failure.

Massive reduction in training times today and going forward.

Golem/Hound/Dragon/Pekka-15 mins, from 45 and 30 mins
Healer/Witch to 10 mins
Valk/Wiz/Bowler/Loon to 5mins
Everything else unchanged.

Spells are now 10 minutes for regular and 5 mins for dark. Regular spells were an hour when I started(I think).

Hero regen times are also way better. My level 30 heroes regen in 39 mins now, instead of 88

Dunno if anyone is still playing, but yet another mass banning of cheaters and the hilarious responses by them on the forums. Glad to see that they're continuing to try to clean the game up for those of us that don't use mods.

Oh, and the Grand Warden is pretty much the most OP character ever made for any video game. He's so awesome

I'm really into Clash Royale and have been since late spring. You can do a bunch of friendlies with your clan so finding a clan that does that would be important - otherwise you have a lot of 3 hour waits (not really but in reality that's what it ends up being).

As long as you don't face guys 2 levels above you. I hate playing guys with similar decks, but all their cards outlevel yous.

that is true or their forts have more HP and can deal more damage than yours. Sometimes I yell at the phone and say, why aren't you in a higher arena then they win and move up and out of my way Sometimes, I think the neg points are too harsh. They should be gentler when you lose to a guy, like you said, 2 levels higher.
