During the 1995 Rugby World Cup, someone sent this fax to all the members of the New Zealand squad:

“Remember that rugby is a team game; all 14 of you make sure you pass the ball to Jonah.”

After one game where New Zealand just dominated England, England's coach was giving a post match interview when there was a loud crash.

The England coach "Ah, that'll be Jonah getting out of the shower then"

Wow. I didn't realize he was only 40. He was the guy when I was playing rugby in the late 90s.

The first real rugbyman Superstar is dead. I'm sad. He had been diagnosed with a kidney disease in 1997 and he wanted to fight and live long enough to see his kids reach the age of 21. Unfortunately, he died at 40 while his kids are 7 and 5.

Rest in Peace Jonah.
