I thought we could use items dedicated to the primary issues. Candidacies, polls, issues, attitudes.

As always, let's try to keep these items pleasant.

Donald Trump obviously caused quite a stir at the first Republican debate when he refused to vow to not run as an independent. For the time being, Trump is still in the GOP race so I'd rather not discuss his candidacy here. Regardless of what happens to his campaign between now and next November, it's clear that trust in our government is at an all-time low and grassroots support for a third-party candidate could play a major role in this upcoming election.

If Deez Nuts continues this momentum, getting an amendment that repeals Article II ratified will be a cinch once he's elected.
