I should have elaborated - They need to run their minor league in the NFL offseason, preferably in cities where MLB/NBA teams are not. I'm thinking a season starting in Mid-February and running to the end of May would be perfect.

The players who play in the league should only be eligible if they have accrued less than 4 games worth of action during the NFL season prior, based on average plays per game for the entire league. After their 4th season, they should be ineligible. If you haven't made a team by then, you're likely never going to anyway.

I think if you strategically place the 16 minor league franchises and make sure that no team is made up from two teams in the same conference, then it should work nicely. Play the games on Saturdays and Sundays only. Televise them on NFL network, 4 games per day. Noon, 3 PM, 6 PM, 9 PM.

lol, tell that to the Seahawks. So much talent everywhere else, but they're giving up the most QB pressure in the league and have had the most rushes for negative yards. Granted, they should get Okung back before the playoffs, but it's a stretch to hope that he'll solve all their line problems. Could be a long offseason if that ends up being their undoing.

It would be cool if they would show old USFL games on NFL Network too. I'd love to see what I never got to see.
