Well, think about how many different incarnations of wignifty and Happy29 that have been deleted! When someone gets deleted, their user number is gone from use forever apparently.

In all honesty, I would have thought the number of deleted users was higher than 61.

ah, that's the explanation. Yeah I remember also all the "banblackadar" and co, I would also think that 61 is a fairly low number...

I just figured out why. At some point, I decided it made more sense to disable the account (sort of a permanent penalty box) than to delete the user account. That way, I have a record of IP addresses of these jerks. There are currently 3 versions of "banblackadar" on the member list (Happy29), and there's "BanningMakesMeFeelStong". All four of those accounts, for example, are disable and unable to post, but I keep them in the database so that I can remember what IP address goes with what banned jerk.
